    Looking for a bike for my dad.

    Hello guys,
    I am looking for a bike for my dad. He has wanted to have one from a really long time and he is an ardent bike guy. So, I need your suggestion on the bikes we can consider. He is 5'6 in height and almost 55 years old. He is going to use it for small trips. The mileage is not an issue. Budget would be below 2 lakhs.

        Going by your profile pic, you already have a FZ25 I'm guessing.

        If you willing to go through waiting period of 3-6 months then suggest you to look at Jawa or Jawa 42, would make a perfect bike for you Dad considering his age, usage and budget.

          What exactly you mean by short trips, coz it varies from person to person. One would consider shorty trips to be like visiting your nearby market, while someone like me would consider it to be 150-200 KMs.

          For senior riders, I thought no you need a low seat, relaxed posture and simple bike.

          1) RE 350 and TB 350 - heavy, not ideal for a senior gentleman.

          2) Jawa - no info on delivery timeline.

          3) Avenger - readily available and low seat height.

          4) CB Unicorn - smooth, simple and comfortable.

            Though I am a bit younger than your dad at 48!
            I am also looking for a bike for fun rides on weekends and holidays. Short rides upto 400 kms over weekends.

            I have made a small comparitive table, see if it helps
