  • Please help me choose my new second bike.

    Hello All,

I am planning to buy an 150 CC bike. Previously I drive HH splendor.
Now looking for an upgrade. I am very confused with lots of options.

    1. I am 5feet 5 inch and weighs 84Kg so for my build which bike will suit.
    2. My budget is around 65k.
    3. Purpose of the bike is mostly commuting and once in a month long drive.
    4. Is HH Hunk is a good option for me.

Unicorn might suit you better. Have a test ride of whichever 150 u are interested. There are plenty of them
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

If u are a dhak dhak go fan. and u rely on HH then u can go for it.
But FE is a concern then u must try Uni & GS tooo

Unicorn will suit you best... but also consider the Suzuki GS150 decent bike, decent mileage, decent power & looks decent too, HH Hunk is a big no no.

HH Hunk will suit as well, I have seen quite a number of shorter people comfortable with Hunk. Right Uni should also be a great choice. Test ride and see the comfort level of both bikes and make decision.

HH Hunk will suit you... But given a choice i would go with the Unicorn... Great for commuting and also long rides... Good mileage, comfort, decent performance...

I would say Suzuki GS 150R, but if you like Hunk or CBZ-Xtreme better, it does not matter that much-all bikes are good&bad in their own way!

CBZ xtreme or GS150R both are really good and capable bikes!!

You are healthy so need a good torqy bike...

                      1)Uni vs Extreme/Hunk - By sheer practicality extreme/Hunk scores over a unicorn...
Because specificationwise uni and extreme/hunk both produce 12.8nm of torque but Hunk/extreme produce nearly 1ps of power more than the sluggish unicorn......and it shows when you ride these 3 bikes....Uni feels immensely sluggish when you compare it with xtreme or hunk....
I really find no reason buying a uni in todays world and that too when we have very good machines from the same manufacturer....!

Apart from xtreme and hunk, we also have pretty good bikes
and one of the most suitable for you would be suzuki GSR mainly because of its massive torque of 13.4nm.....which is second best in the segment....!

We also have other pretty good bikes.....
So my two cents would be to go for a test drive of all the bikes you can...
But keep a keen eye on hunk/extreme/GSR.....

your priorities look like - (not in the order)
                        1. good handling
                        2. decent mileage (as u want to opt for 150cc)
                        3. vfm
                        4. good service/cheap spare parts
hunk, uni and suzuki gs150r.. all three can be very good options for daily commutation and occasionally long rides..
                        hunk is good at manuevering..
uni has proved it overall.. a very safe option..
gs ia new, have not proved yet.. but picking up fast.. good mileage, techno equipped.. weight is more so you may not find it that manueverable in city traffic(however, i own gs and i dont find any probs at all)
                        looks are subjective..
servicing - depends on place to place.. and its India.. after sales service will be in indian way.. chalta hai types.. accept it.
i wont suggest cbz extreme as its mileage is low..
have a test ride of hunk/uni/gs and let us know how you feel..
I like to meditate a lot.. On my BIKE!
