    Need help for buying a bike

    Guys, I am buying a used Royal Enfield Himalayan (2016, 22,000kms run) from Sector-88, Faridabad.

    I am buying it for touring purpose and the price is 1,15000/-.

    Suggestions please, brothers.

      Don't buy it, rather buy a brand new xpulse from the showroom

        Thanks brother but pulse is lacking power thats why i m not going for it also its exhaust is a problem for saddles

          Hard to beat the Himalayan at this price point but I'm concerned about the initial 2016 versions. Check everything thoroughly. The bike was improved a lot in its 2nd innings.
          I strongly suggest you check for a 2018 BS4 ABS version if you can. It can be a life saver specially when touring. Lorry and car drivers suddenly change lanes without indicators, animals crossing and what not.

            I think it is a fairly good price IF the bike is in good condition, it has more power than the current model of ABS. So get it checked with RE mechanic before you proceed and of course, test ride it for at least 20-30 kms to get a feel for how it is.

              Given the weld breakdown issues people have been facing, your confidence in Himalyan is commendable. And buying a 2016 model, you got titanium balls boy.

                  You can try CBR or anything else for touring needs but RE's need a hell lot of maintenance and especially Himalayan isn't a great deal !!!!

                          Although buying used Himalayan is a good deal, I'd suggest buying a new 2019 Himalayan as its fitted with ABS and most of the issues are sorted out. Also nothing can beat Himalayan at the price point .
