    I've done it on my zmr which uses a split handle bar, i had replaced it with a Himalayan handle bar.but then the riding position was leaned towards the front which gave me back pains, the cables and wires were stretched to the max, thus I had to lift my fron forks to give me a relaxed riding posture, which had helped me a lot for munching miles.

    I know a garage that works on superbikes and for this work to be done i would only need the triple clamp and handle bar from mt15.
    As the seat height is only 5mm higher on r15 and foot pegs are at the same place, I think the ride dynamics would stay the same as mt15.

    Coming to the issue of stretched out wires, I'll examine the length of wires that come with mt15 and r15 and check the length of both.
    If both are the same then this work should not be a problem.

    With BS6 deadline coming close in another 3.5 months, we can see a lot of bikes getting upgraded to bs6 and prices to go up.
    However, we can expect features to be added too. I will sell the duke in January and start the waiting game.

      Bro, what you're attempting is a jugaad. And when you already have MT15 available, it makes no sense to buy R15 and go bananas over such mod. Triple clamp, wiring, throttle/brake cables & handle bar, you'll have to play around with all these and adjust till it just fits together. Then, you'll have problems like fairing fouling. Instead of going with all these problems and spending much more money, just get MT15.

        I will be resting this debate for now as I have decided to wait for Yamaha to release the BS6 version of MT15.
