200 or 220??

    200 or 220??

    I want to upgrade from P150..
    My bro-in-law took my P150 bcoz of exceptional mileage..

    so, i'm planning to take new bike

    My requirements are :
    Power better than P180
    Mileage > 40 will do..
    My daily commute to office of 60km.
    Occasional long tour.
    i drive 30 km in traffic and 30 km in free road ( Hossur road )
    so, i want it to do 80-100 kmph easily..

    I really in love with P220 Headlights.. i need those projector lights .
    New 2009 version 200 is expected to come with 220 fairing.
    Even, 220 will hav those lights.

    I dont mind its FI or carb..
    Budget upto 1 lakh on road.

    I'm confuse between these two..
    200 or 220??

    PS : No R15, F16, GS150R, ZMA

      If u want mileage > 40 , 200 is the one.

      But some get around 40 even on the 220.

      It s upto u to decide
      When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

        This does not look confusing. No R15,ZMA. Budget 1L,go for 220. 220 and 200 pretty much similar mileage.

          Keeping your key factors stroke considerations stroke wishes in mind - 220 is the best buy for you. It is a powerful bike and will easily live up to your expectations... As others said FE is almost on the similar lines for both the bikes. So my suggestion would be the 220.. rest is upto you to decide...

            220 all the way .. i dont feel a huge difference between R15 , RTRs and P200s .. acceleration wise

            but i feel the thump in 220s
            so 220 is the ultimate bike you need now ,, if you can wait then theres nothing like it

                Manohar : Wait for UG1 of P200/P220, test ride both and decide ! 80 -100 kmph on Hosur road ? Namaskara You can do that only after mid-night

                        man i waited for months for the cbr 150rr
                        only to realize it wasnt lauched

                        dio is good enuf ride
                        so its nothing like urgent

                            Dude the Ug1 220/200 are both on their way in around month or 2 from now .... theres nothing much on the performance side to be expected from the new 220..albeit u may see some cosmetic changes...200 will be jus b a lookalike with 20cc less power and no fi.... but both will b launched 2gether.... my suggestion wudb to go wid the 220...no matter wat..it will have something extra compared to the 200...trust bajaj for that....

                              As you said you can wait for a month or two , go for the 2009 p220.
