    Selecting a classic bike in 2 to 3 lakhs range

    Hi,

    I am planning to get a retro classic style bike in 2020. Currently, Imperiale 400, Classic 350, and Interceptor 650 are on the list.

    I have 180 cm height and 90 kg weight. Looking for a bike that matches my size too (lookwise).

    Usage is weekly 300 km ride. Mostly for highway and city use. Occasional long ride to hill stations.

    Please help.

      10 years before if you had asked me if a Classic 350 appeals, I would have said yes. Back then we did not have much choices and the technological advancement trend was yet to catch up in India in the entry to mid segment ay least. So the Classic 350 would still win my vote for the history and looks.

      Fast forward to current date and you have a plethora of options to choose from. I have not ridden an Imperiale, but seriously, I would take an Interceptor any day to the Classic. No comparison in refinement/performance and it can hold its own when it comes to the retro looks.

      P.S. : Imagine you doing 85-90 kmph max for hours when you go on a long drive. Beyond that is unrealistic for safety and comfort reasons on a Classic 350. No offence to Classic owners. I can't sugar cote it when it comes to giving an honest opinion.

        Get a used interceptor, people are selling them with a good discount, low mileage and good condition. You'll be able to save a lot of money going that route.
