Bike for office and occasional travel back to home

    1. Budget - 1.5~1.6 lacs
    2. Age - 30
    3. Height - 5.8
    4. Weight - 82 kg
    5. Intended usage - office commute daily around 20 km, once a month back to home about 700 kms
    6. Fuel Efficiency requirement - respectable for its class
    7. City & Highway - as mentioned in intended usage
    8. Approximate Daily / Monthly running
    9. City - presently ayodhya but transfers every 2 years or so in my bank
    10. Brand / Bike type preference - need a bike with a road presence preferably with some thumping sound

      Get the FZ 26 BS6 or Apache 200 BS6, both have awesome exhaust note and enough power to cruise in highways.

        I'd like to add to the above post by suggesting Bajaj Pulsar 220 and Pulsar 200 NS apart from FZ25 and Apache 200.

        Depending on your need, even Apache 160 4V could make sense with better fuel economy and good grunt for its class.

        This would free up some moolah to get proper helmet and gear, if you don't have those already.
