Yeah, pretty much.... it depends on how u drive and care for the bike. I had a TVS Victor which i sold two days ago.... it was a seven year old bike and to be frank, i abused the bike literally for the last two years (i didn't even change the oil for 1.5 yrs nor got it serviced). Still it was going very well. Here i should mention that the build quality of any bike you will buy now will be higher than that Victor. So, yeah, a Bajaj should last you 6-7 years of good service provided you do not abuse the bike like i did :POriginally posted by rahul_crab View Postbut i have got one query, whether p220 or any make of bajaj can be used for at least 7-8 years without much problem because i will not be changing frequently..!

Hi Rahul,Originally posted by rahul_crab View Posthi all bikers..im rahul 4m m'lore wanting to buy a bike..yahoo..
my prefs. are that it should be stylish, slightly powerful ,reliable for atleast 4-5 yrs. my budget is arnd 65-75 but suggestions of bikes a bit higher than my budget are welcome..and important thing is im 6'5" so it has to be a comfortable ride for me...so start posting and thank u..!
Given your preferences, i would recommend either the Unicorn Or ZMA. For your height both of them complement very well. Since you have mentioned reliability factor for 5 Yrs, this should be the perfect fit. Though i love Unicorn to the core, i bought ZMA because of the better power to weight ratio.
Unicorn is 146 Kgs Kerb Weight - 13.5 PS
ZMA is 150 Kgs Kerb weight - 17 PS. (Slightly powerful than Unicorn).
I own a ZMA which is 6 months old. I am not crazy about speeds, but love to cruise around 100 Kmph mark. ZMA is just beautiful. I bet, u will fall in love with either of these two from the moment u start riding it.

rahul, if you are new to the forum please use multiquotes or edit your post rather posting continuously.
ya your requirments should take you to bajaj dealership or to a used TB.. Both are very nice bikes

Well in that case....go for P220 or if u can give some time to your bike....go for a second hand Thunderbird.Originally posted by rahul_crab View Postthank u ankitshringi..!! i lov to hav a bullet but i cant reach it with my budget...!!

@rahul
I test drove the RE thunderbird yesterday and i think it is probably the only bike which would look good with a tall guy like you. It has a lot of power and stability.....although it is not easy to negotiate sudden turns or cuts (in case of avoiding mad rickshawallas) but it is a nice bike to cruise around in the city or better still take on highways. The only two downsides are:
1. Less engine refinement (Vibrations are quite evident after 3k rpm)
2. Heavy weight (which becomes a downside when you have to drag it to a puncturewallah otherwise it adds to the stability of bike)
With a new twinspark engine, it has a decent mileage and oil leakages have been reduced to minimum level. It's price in baroda is 1.06 lakhs on road. Try it out...Test drive it and consider it as an option

after watching the market HH MAY quote zmr's price reasonable .
enough of OT ..
NINJA --well its priced easily above 2L and 2L has more zeros than 80000
