Earlier it was only Unicorn, even Yamaha came up with mono suspension from past 1 year.

        2. its only bike in india which has mono suspention.

        1. Mono-shocks (from en.wikipedia)
On a motorcycle with a mono-shock rear suspension, there is only one shock that connects the rear swingarm to the motorcycle's frame. Typically this lone shock is in front of the rear wheel, and uses a linkage to connect to the swingarm.
Mono-shocks eliminate torque to the swingarm and provide more consistent handling and braking. They are also easier to adjust, since there's only one shock to adjust, and there is no worry about matching two shocks. Also, the linkages used to connect the shock to the swing-arm are frequently designed to give a rising rate of damping for the rear.

        2. BSA Bond by Hindustan Lever Limited had monosuspension (in early 1980s).

First of all clear from your mind that Unicorn uses old technology.

Unicorn is a combination of best engine technologies / best frame / best suspension setup & reliability of Honda. Though it has analogue meters and regular bulbs but these are highly reliable and time tested. Bike is little heavy but once you ride the bike you will forget weight. Riding constantly at 60-70 is breeze on Uni. Also this Honda has very high resale value. Note that Honda has bad reputation over after sales service so be prapared for that.

Now come to GS150, it is equally capable motorcycle but Suzuki lacks image, so low resale value. Digi instrument consol and LED lights are just decorative material, reliability & cost is issue. About 6th gear, you will get tired changing gear every now and then. Another thing is that GS is over 2-3k costlier than Uni.

If i had to pick one for myself, i would rather test ride both and decide because its a matter of personal taste. I like Unicorn because i am a satisfied Uni owner, its a machine you love to ride even after riding 5 years.

                +1
... superbly put ! This should be a std. answer for people who dub some good/proven bikes as 'old technology'

My vote goes to the GS 150R, due to the gizmos&a 6th cog, a blessing for the highways. Weight is not a problem at all. I'm also about the same height&weight as you&didn't find any problem with the size/weight.
If you are looking at better resale value you could think of the Hunk/Xtreme or if there is no Suzuki SVC nearby then Unicorn would be the obvious choice.
If you are not having the above 2 constraints, I would still suggest the GS150R, as it is fresh&doing very well too. Maintenance costs would also be lesser than the Honda. Mileage&power would be more!

                          i don't understand above line.
u mean GS150R maintence will be lesser then honda after a period of time?mileage and power lesser i can understand but i didn't get maintenace thing, and if u are saying mileage and power lesser then honda then its not good isn't it?also for maintence thing i see that honda unicorn have all simple thing tail light simple,no gizmo things digital one,so if these things in GS150R i have to replace due to some reason then it will be too costly then honda unicorn simple meters and tail light isn't it?so how maintence will be lesser then honda of GS150R.
i am considering bike for atleast 5-6 years period.
please clear that thing u said in that line.

btw silver is available,so will go for silver sir or black xD

Ah well, need to set few things straight.

An honest observation..... I have seen Zukis..... 2-3 years old Zuki Heat, Zeus... with 70k to 150 k on Odo, the engine still has the punch. Consumables like Brake shows, Clutch Plates and Chain Sets also have a comparatively longer life.
So I would say as long as you are getting it serviced properly on time, your Zuki will serve you in a better way, mainteinence cost again is not High...just Oil Filter and engine oil change is what you need to spend on periodically.

Sturdy engine, smooth operation and attractive colors with good instumentaion. GS is the one.
Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

Save the Tigers! Only 1411 (excluding ME) are left!

Sorry buddy, I typed those last 2 lines in a hurry in the last 2 minutes before my meeting. I meant to say overall Maintenance costs will be lesser due to lower costs of consumables&spares. Mileage&power will be more compared to the Honda.
Coming to the gizmos, don't think that a digital meter gets spoilt by rains. I'm using the R15 since a year&its always out in the open. Nothing ever happened to the meter. Same applies for LED taillamps. The packing material used in all bikes is good&doesn't allow any water to seep through.
Inspite of this, if you face a problem with the lights/meters, you can claim a warranty replacement in the warranty period. I have heard of very few defective cases though. If you are looking at 5-6 years, then I don't think the resale would be much of a concern to you. If you have good Suzuki SVC in your area, I say go for GS! Its worth it!
                              Hope I cleared my point!

I would suggest the GS150R for you. As has been already pointed out, it has better features compared to the Uni. Regarding Uni's USPs like reliability, refinement etc, the GS150R can match it on every count, if not exceed it. Go for the Uni only if you really need the Honda badge.
