    hi,

I do agree that pulsar220 is a good contender.
But i have slight hesitations, with respect to buil quality and i also heard that mirrors are of not much use.

As for my previous thread , i would like satyen to comment on that and give his suggestions.

      Dude,

I've used both Pulsar and ZMA! Both have their own pros and cons!!

      ZMA:
Pros: Great handling, power, a nice tourer
Cons: Overpriced spareparts, availability of spares

      Pulsar:
Pros: Cosmetic stuff, fastest in the category
Cons: Bike really drains after an year

Considering your vertical stretch, I wont recommend R15 as well. I'm 6 feet as well and i've ridden it!! doesn't feels/looks good..

FZ is nice, but wont you a top speed for 115+

      Your call!!

Dude if you have 85 k in hand and you need a good touring bike with good pick up then no need to think more Just go and get Karizma ..

New Zmr willl be above 1 lakh (if it comes this year) .. So it is out of your list

Fz and Gsr both are good ..First thing you have to do is ask yourself is 150 cc is enough for you? Take a test drive of fz and then ZMa ,,

If you want to tour on your bike ZMa is the best within your budget ,Only question is are you ok with milage 35 km /litre (or around 30 if you ride above 100 for long time ). IF its ok Just go and take ZMA .

ZMa is simply awsome dude .. believe me once you experience ZMA you will not be satisfied with any other bike .

My advice take ZMa , you wil never regret
(Spares are costly i agree but if you get a new bike you need not worry about spares for atleast 2 years )

Fazer on road price is 80 K . If you are not too much impressed by its look its better not invest 80 k for fazer (After all its just 150 cc) . for 83 K you will get Zma .You cant never even compare ZMa with any other 150 cc (including Fazer) Both are entirely different class. Go for zma if you have 85 k , Value for money (with all respect to fazer , no offense meant )

@warisbest : Zma-R (the present one) would be a good choice as the ZMR would cost 1.15L upwards(OTR). Zma-R is a kind of all in one bike and fits all roles without much fuss and yes you can attain excellent topend cruise speeds on highways.

CBZ Xtreme would satisfy your week-end getaways and city drives very easily, plus good mileage and lower maintainence cost (compared to zma) will save good money on long term......and in immediate term you save solid 20K over Zma-R !

Fazer/FZ-S are bit costly, but is stylish and unique !!

                              Problems with new karizma

                              Hi frnds,
My new karizma has now done 300kms in 3 weeks.
But the gears make a lot of noise while shifting down and its not smooth also.
I am always searching for the neutral .
Why all these problems are occuring.
Some of my frnds say that it will go with first service ,but i am not convinced.

My another querry is about acceleration .When i took the bike to service centre the guys told that it is ser for overacceleration.
And now the pick up is not that good.

I want to know how can i set it for optimum accleleration.

                              Plz help me.
                              thanks in advance

dude dont worry about the gear problems.. all the new karizmas have the same thing. the gear will be hard initially but it will become butter smooth after 1 st and 2 nd service..

wait till 2 nd service and after that you can play with the settings and adjustments..

Please not : ask similar questions in karizma ownership thread. you will get more responses plus this is not the place to discuss such issues.
