Sorry .. but I am getting confused again ....

First I got Thumbs Up for 180 -- which still leads the thumbs up count
    Then got accolades for FI
    Then applauds for R15 ...

As I have never ridden an R15, can anyone please tell me how's the riding position on it as compared to RTRs, is it too much aggressive? Does it put more weight on wrists and you need to bend more than RTR?
As all mentioned about the low end power of an R15, can someone compare it with other bikes say other 150CC/125CC or even a 100CC if it is that less.

As of now I am more inclined towards an RTR (180 or FI) instead of R15 so that I can save extra money for a nice riding jacket, a pair of gloves and may be a good rear tyre

For city use primarily go for apache 180 + R15 rear tyre . its a great all round bike .

Riding position is quite simalar to RTR . why dont you look for some friend who has and for a test ride .

That's the problem, I don't have a friend who has this bike. They have Avy, FZ, Pulsars, RTRs but no one with an R15. I guess, will need a test ride from a Yamaha dealer -- if they do so without much fuss.

            +1 on that idea dude....

RTR has always been a pocket rocket....U will definitely feel an above expected performance 4 the greens spent.... Iam sure u wont regret your decision on either of the 180 n Fi.... I too personally have a confusion between 180 n Fi.... Thanks for kicking off the thread.

Btw. Sure that the new Fi-s r comin with a refined Fuel injector...?

              That's what owners are saying.
I also read posts about this.

BTW, I am planning to go for a test ride for R15 this weekend. If I just love it, I'll go for this (what can I do: "Yah Dil Mange More" )
else as FI has gotten better, I'll just take back to back FI and 180 test rides on the final day and will just book one, whichever I like at that point of time.
For color: I love the red in Apache but both of the above don't come in that color, so may settle for Gray. If by chance I go for R15, it will be a blazing red or midnight black. Comments!!??

Planning to buy it next month - so that I can get more cash in hand from the next paycheck .

Went to my nearest Yamaha dealer today in a hope to get a test ride for R15, but had to come disheartened.
First they did not have any bike for display, second no bike for test ride either, third price seemed to be 2k jacked up(1.13lacs), fourth they told me only new four colors(Impact yellow, Midnight black, Racing blue, Sunset red) are available and old ones(including blazing red - my fav) are stopped -- even though site has list of all the old colors.
Very sad experience, can someone suggest me a good dealer in Bangalore?

Hey what did you decide, if you had?!!

I would still need to hear from new RTR Fi owners who bought it after they had rectified the problems. Please guys give feedback on RTR FI.

                  Thanks!!

Hehe.... Yeah I got my ride.... But not RTR Fi or 180.... Not even a TVS.

Went a step ahead with the Royal Enfield Thunderbird TWINSPARK.

Not sure about the refined fuel injector. mine is 8 month old with silver colour fuel injector . As of now no problem with the fuel injectors. I rode my friends new A180 for around 5 kms inside city. Both 180 and FI are good . But I felt something was missing in A180 which was present in FI ,not sure exactly what it was . I love the exhaust sound of FI

                        1. If u want initial pickup, then go for RTR180.
                        2. If u want great handling, then go for R15.
                        3. But Thunderbird is THE GOD.
