If you feel so then Zma-R should be automatic choice

Murugan is slower than an earthworm compared to you! You are so well informed about a bike's reliability that has been released barely a month ago!

if u want some raw power...go for p220 dtsi....if u want better handling ZMA...i have rode p220 dtsi...believe me itz a beast ..ZMA is laggy and outdated but scores in the handling section..
and dude..people bookmarked pulsars for bad reliability and poor built....this is a big mistake,..all have been inheriting the same from them...ofcourse there were issues ..but bajaj have resolved them and this UG4 is much refined..so think again!
iam not saying this bcoz i own a pulsar..itz their views ..i have ridden RTR 160,180 ...evry where in the forums u see praises for RTR though there r many cons ....people hide them ...so this impression is carried all the way...YES there r pros..that could have influenced them..but that doesn't mean that they should hide the CONS..
this is same for every bike..every bike has pros and cons
...iam saying this bcoz people should remove this misconceptions about pulsar...they have noticed the cons of pulsar in earlier and spread that like a plague..now they forgot to notice the improvements that pulsar has undergone...so ppl judge a bike on ur experience not from others words!

Compared to the P220 DTS-Fi, the Handling of the 2009 P220 DTS-i is a world apart.. it is now much more stable and confidence inspiring around corners.

This has happened thanks to stiffer suspension settings and softer compund tyres and thanks to the constant nagging by communities like xBhp and auto mags about the older P220 DTS-Fi's nervous handling around the race track.

The Front end of the Karizma has a light feeling compared to the P220, this does help in low speed flickability but out on open highways and in crosswinds, the P220 feels more planted and stable at higher speeds.

if handling is concern then P220 will be the one

As far as reliability is concerned i feel both are equally reliable, but handling is a big plus on the P220 due to its longer wheelbase, i just rode it and the seating position is so much good on the P220, perfect blend of comfort and sportiness.

i didnt own p 220 so i cannot say about its reliability but there are many owners here who can tell you pros and cons of it even though this topic is
discussed a lot of times . But what i can say is about ZMa since i own one . It is one of the most reliable bikes in India (next to R15) .

As i mentioned in many places it is not regrading "which is the best bike?" but it is regarding "Which is the best bike that suits you?"

If you are a person who wants a bike that can beat all the bikes on the road go for P220 since it is the fastest machine (in normal bikes) available in India at an affordable rate . If you are a person who likes raw power
and a little louder exhaust note P 220 is your bike. What i can say is it has got many new features in it including projector headlight and dual disks . It is an excellent value for money .

But if you are a person who likes to ride a smooth powerful bike with less sound then Zma is your bike.Off course ZMa is not as fast as P220 but i am assuring you it offers great comfort and is relaible . For long tours the seating poisiton of Zma is better than p220. . personally speacking anyday i will go for Zma becuase my personal likings is more satisfied by ZMa. Regarding the relaibility issue ZMa is a proven performer , you can close your eyes and go for it. After three or four years down the line a ZMa owner will be still happy and riding his ZMa with pleasure while most of the pulsor users will be already looking for a next upgrade since the rate at which the performance degrade is more in pulsor than in Zma . Pulsor looses smoothness more faster than ZMa (infact many people are ok with this ) . One thing i can assure you is if you are a person who wants a bike with above features you wil never regret on your decision to buy ZMa in future.

Personally i prefer ZMa anyday . . I prefer smoothnes ,relaibility and less vibrations than winning a traffic light GP or Highway drag because i am more in to touring than racing . As i told you it varies from person to person . Ask yourself about your needs and desires ans choose accordingly.

                            Cheers!!!

                              Spot on...!
P220 DTSi is a fantastic handler....and scores a lot on cornering especially.

In fact, despite being a 152 kg monster this bike is India's best dual shock cornering machine..... just that Apaches scores on the preciseness and flickability in cities

Anyway, you have made up your mind buddy, go for Karizma, you would be more satisfied...
