  • Help me choose a great touring machine!

Well i am about to buy a bike this festive season, and i am a hell lot confused, so please help me out,

my basic and foremost need is touring, so the bike must be an excellent tourer and i have a restricted budget of <85k. average/looks are secondary

i have shortlisted p220(carb) and fazer, and having driven both i am nothing but confused which one to buy!!!

Go for the 220. It has more power than the fazer and is a better VFM.

I second everyone here, go for P220 with eyes closed.

Fazer is only hyped up for 'touring spirit', IMO. Other than a little less wind resistance, its the same as the FZ, which is an awesome street bike.

P220 has got the power, torque, comfort (Fazer may be better), looks (Fazer is the best though :P)

Ok .. I'll say again, go for P220, you wont be disappointed, its exactly what you're looking for.

P220 all the way.The Fazer IMO is a city tourer,if you know what i mean...The pulsar is good in almost all areas than the yammie, except for maybe,styling...btw,what about the RE bullet std???worth a try

It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

for you,it's the new ZMA(a proven tourer just got better) i guess(only my opinion) as the new one should cost you as much as the R15(speculation.no concrete news)...If it's between the R15 and the P220,I'd personally go for the pulsar...

As srini says, Zma is proven tourer, take a decision on zmr after specs and bike is out to showroom....

                          Decide bet Zmr & 220

Grand Southern Raid | Munnar | Yercaud | Ootacamund

The increase in performance is directly proportional to the size of the hole in your pocket :D

Test ride ZMR, if you don't like it (or if you feel it's costly) go for Zma-R which is still available. The best (n proven) tourers
