  • another bike in pune!

Planning to buy a new bike.
    1. I live in Pune. (that should give you an idea about roads and traffic )
    2. I am 30, 5/8 and 150lb.
    3. I want a bike that I can take on long drives but would mostly use for commuting.
    4. I did a test ride of FZ16 and didn't like the toe-shifter.
    5. Bike should be easy on maintenance and good on FE and the ride should be comfortable.
    6. Bike should "look" good!
    7. Not a speed freak but would like some power.
    8. 125-150 cc

    suggestions?

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

I guess GS150R would be the best. As you didn't mention the budget, I assume it would be at least 65k.
Unicorn will also be good if you like its looks.

The GS150R is the only bike in the 150cc segment which doesnt have a toe shifter i reckon...So,the GS it is from my side
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

unicorn as it has much more refined engine than suzuki's lot...
its hard to believe that its the same engine with little tweaks which came with 4-5year back unicorn pure butter...

Time to test ride the suzuki... With so much praise that the Unicorn receives, the one thing that goes against it is its AGE and probably the waiting time at the dealers. What say you...

                            Hi Bro,
Take a test drive of the suzuki GS150 you will know the difference. I bought the bike 45 days back in Pune and have done some touring around; wasn't disappointed even one bit. The bike has good power on highways in high gears (>4) but is equally zippy in city in lower gears. The 6th gear is boon on highways, the bike has some issues like poor headlight and poor rear brake. I will suggest that you take the TD and if you like tit then post your queries in the GS150R ownership forum on xbhp.
