Congrats buddy, welcome to the pulsar club.
Well, there would be no problem going for the trip unless u rip along the journey as its hard to ride at 50-60 kms on a highway especially for 350 kms!

      @sirni & @Aditya Thanks bro

Filled my bike with 10L speed and went on 30 km trip

The engine is running very hot, after travelling 18 kms I was really scared with heat so parked bike for 30 mins and then completed rest of the trip.

Is this kind of heat is normal
also my hands are smelling funny

I have one more question, its regarding tyre pressure
In manual its written that tyre pressure should be
      Front 28
      Rear 28-32

Its quite supersing as my old glamour has front 25 and rear 35
Whay is rear pressure so low in p180

Modds : Is it ok to post my queries here, If not then I will start a new thread in Help me Section
No Matter Whether Guys buy 220cc Pulsars or 350cc Royal Enfields,
It is used only to follow a 80cc Scooty Pep...

engine heating is quite normal on a new bike.so there's no need to worry...and about the tyre pressure,it's better to stick with the manual IMO(have no idea why it's low though)
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

          Hi Bro

Congrats on new mean machine ...

My few cents - Yes the engine does tend to get a lil hot ... particulary in stop and go for a brand new bike..

Just ensure that you dont rev too much ,.... and try to climb to higher gear as quickly as possible ... Dont keep the rpm too constant .. keep varying ... check out for some leakages (should not occur - put a precaution as it is a new bike) after each longer ride ...

and yeah do not drive the vehicle too hard (say harsh braking - trying to jump the vehicle with sudden high throttle)..

Without all these you will have STILL have a good bike .. but WITH all these - You wil not ONLY have a bike but WILL ENJOY it too..

          Happy riding

          Best

              @All Thanks

BTW They have mentioned values in 'psi' and as far as i know its the same unit in which petrol pump guys measure Tyre pressure

@Sirni, I also believe that but, I cant understand why they have mentioned so low pressure.

@Bobby, As you yourself are a pulsar onwer, so might be knowing more
just crurios, How you got those those values(30,40) personal experience or other source

Other p180 owners please post your tyre pressure too

              One more question

Do anyone knows good shops (Preferbly in sowth delhi) where I can get stickers and some more acc for my bike and fit a saree guard(BTW: What is it )

I am also planning to buy a new helmet as by pure black studds ninja doesent go that well with new bike, someone can please model and shop
I dont have much budget 1000-1500MAX

EDIT : I want Split Helmets As I wear Spects & it should go well wid my blue pulsar

Also Is karol bag (New delhi)is open on mondays

i will suggest you to go for vega boolean, perfect with your budget.
                will come under 1500.

I even play with my Scale Models

I would say, go for recommended air pressure only.

                              lower air pressure:
tyre would stick more to road. speed would be less(not noticeable). tyre life would be less as sticking more to road.

                              Higher Air pressure:
tyre would stick less to road. MAJOR REASON FOR RIDERS TO FALL.

                              better stick to factory recommended.

                              generally:
highway/striaght line riding: keep high pressure for less sticking to road and feel better with higher speed.
                              Ghat section:
keep lower air pressure. tyre give you more grip and confidence at corners.

Tyre pressure is very imporatant and I have seen many riders fall during cornering/sharp turns due to higher air pressur.

Also, I have seen fellow p200 riders keeping air pressure of 28 - 28 in both rear and front tyre for solo rider.
