    Honda Unicorn, Apache 180, P220, GS150 R, FZ-series
    1st Oct 2009:
    Went to Honda factory outlet to check out Uni & Stunner. Unfortunately I dint get TD, instead I was told ther was atleast a wait for 2 months to get a Ubi. I was desperate 4 TD so they directed me 2 a nearby showroom. I reachd showroom by 7pm & they were almost closed bt we requested & they happily allowed short TD of Stunner & Unicorn.
    1)
    Great low end torque, nice handling, lightweight feel, smooth flow of power.
    2)
    2nd Oct 2009:

    For Eg: P220- 84k, RTR 180- 77k, Avenger- 79 k. Fz-S 79k
    I was denied TD of any of the bikes. So left the showroom bit disappointed, but I knew I have a long day ahead for TD so I was much excited. so next we reached a nearby TVS showroom by 12.30 pm.
    3)
    Next we reached Bajaj showroom by 1.
    Straight away went to d salesperson & asked for TD & to our surprise, he nodded yes immediately (may be he was impressed by FZ-S we were riding on)

    OTR quoted was 81k with about 5 weeks waiting 4 Blue P220 which I liked.
    Both Me & My friend were out of words for the overall package Bajaj has to offer. I was so inspires to book myself a P220 right away with lots of persuading my friend. But we somehow controlled ourselves & decided to complete TD of last bike GS150 after a short lunch break.
    On the way 2 suzuki, we stopped by Honda & Hero Honda showroom & got TD of Stunner & CBZx. Nothing as impressive or worth mentioning. But we did get to see all new ZMR in HH showroom. We did ask 4 a TD but denied straight away. Anyways ZMR is way out of my budget so it dint matter.
    After almost an hour of riding & negotiating directions, we reached Suzuki showroom by 4.00 pm
    NO TD bikes available & hence my frnd was so upset on the salesperson coz yesterday he had personally confirmed the availability of GS 150 TD. Thanks to some requests by my frnd, the salesperson let us take TD of a new GS150. Again I went off 1st. However my frnd could not be my pillion since a Suzuki representative was with me. Started d bike, loved the goodies it offered. Felt nice acceleration(not as good as FZ though). Big bike though, so handling felt a bit uncomfortable (even my frnd felt d same on his turn of TD). Truly its an upgrade of Unicorn. Engine was super smooth, although I could not manage above 60 kmph in traffic.

    End of the day: We reached back home by 6.45 pm & zeroed down our wishlist to P220, RTR 180 or any of FZ.
    I Kno all about FZ since I rode it entire day so I would love to hear your inputs on P220 & RTR 180
    P.S : I would continue with my doubts once my post gets approved since this post is getting too long & may be boring too Sory Mods but pls do accept it

      Yaar, don't think too much! You rode the P220 and liked it too! Go for it! P220 is better than the A180 in almost all criterias!
      Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

        Dude.. make up your mind.. its been over 2 weeks since ur 1st What Bike thread...

        BTW.. at 5'11" i think RTR180 will be too small for you... I am also 5'11", I got the 220. Decide between you true love (Avy) and the hottest chick around (220) now.. its upto you..
        Advice is a form of nostalgia.
        Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

            Let me do some math here

            Total:
            FZ=3+1=4
            Apache=2+2=4
            P220=2+3=5

            Finally, 220 is the winner.

                Ya I kno Its been long, & thats Y I'm a bit more desperate now 2 book myself a ride soon. Truly Avy is my 1st love but I hav never ridden it & feel lik I definitely need a TD before I buy it but no TD's of Avy available in mumbai. Secondly, I kno bout RTR feelin a bit compact & but I dint get 2 experience it personally so i was keen 4 TD. Anyways P220 seems to fit my bill correctly in all departments but the only thing holding me back are the advices from my friends about not 2 get a P220 since its a heavy, high powered beast & I have comparitively avereage experience of riding 150 cc's of my fnds & getting a 1st bike with 220 cc might prove fatal.

                I never understood math altogether in my life, but gotta tell u, this was d simplest form of math I could understand easily. Well I like FZ but its in the same price range of RTR180 & P220 so not as much VFM if compared to the performance figures. So just d question lies between RTR180 & P220

                  Ha ha ..i love reading that line ..

                  Dude take a test drive of RTR 180 before you make a decision and decide
                  which you like .. Whether you buy RTR 180 or P220 you are not making any mistake both are powerful beasts but having different character and gives you different feel of driving .. go and test drive RTR 180 also and select which character/feel u like ..

                  All the best

                        Look no further, the P220 it is. The new avtar of the 220 with all the goodies makes it a VFM package and you too liked it so go for it.
