  • Need Help In Buying HH ZMR... RTR 180... R15 or Pulsar 220

    hi guys ,

well my friend wants to buy a new bike this diwali we went to HH showroom they had no specs about the new HH ZMR th i seeen it in on TV reviews on net ETC...

he currently owns a Unicorn wants to upgrade to a better bike mileage n money are not a concern performance n riding is

we go on long tours also we hav heard the news on Fazer 250 launching in January ....!!!

but he wants to buy one now so i want to throw a question at u guys m not a fan of P220 as i own P200 so im not suggesting the P220 to him as P200 has been taken of by bajaj

Guys i want to know which one he should opt for HH ZMR .......(which would be launching in a week delivered in November) RTR 180 which kinda like .... R15 which i simply adore added the ECU making it 23 Bhp or the P220.........!!!

kindly revert quick as reply;'s awaited .......!!!!

Of the lot, I would suggest the ZMR for stress free touring. All the specs are available in the thread here&on Bike India a review is also there.
In city, R15&RTR would be more flickable.
P.S. There is no Fazer 220/250 coming.

All of the bikes which you have shortlisted have varied characters and are strong in their own ways.

So please have a test ride of those bikes and then decide. If i were you, i would put my money on the ZMR, but then i would like to test it first!!

              Touring ==> ZMR
              B o D a C i O u S

              Wander logue

Grand Southern Raid | Munnar | Yercaud | Ootacamund

From Unicorn (wing rider), the best options would be R15 else ZMR (maybe Zma-R as well). Ask your pal to test ride these three machines and make up his mind.

ride all of them and decide.also consider availability of spares and service if you plan to keep it for long.all the three are great.zmr gives a relaxed stance which compliments touring.but service and spares a major issue.both RTR and R15 with the clip on.s can be tiring for the spine and hands if you plan to tour often.

                        good luck

we hav been to major dealer n no one to my surprise agreed for a TEST RIDE

i was shocked we even had the cash it was a spot on delivery thing we just wantd them to delay it till 17th

HH guys were helpless they had no clue abt the launch R15 guys were blaring out that the R15 can easily beat P200 now i dont want to start a fight btw R15'z n P200 i own a P200 myself i really like the way R15 looks i want my frnd to buy that bike i was never thrilled abt the ZMR but he;s inclined on RTR 180 now

we were told that there are no free service from yamaha each service coz 1600 agreed the bike is amazing but one has to consider maintainance

                          he is now has 2 options R15 n RTR180

and as i understand pricing and maintainance is as important for him they dont go han in hand ........no one has apache n R15 in our group so everyone is puzled wat to opt for

need some expert comments n reverts from those who own them

                          cheers....\m/
