Then your choice goes to KAWA BAJAJ NINJA 250 R as it is the only indian bike now to cruise at 120...

120+ cruising speed - isn't it a lil ambitious in Indian roads? Where do you find the tarmac to cruise at 120 KMPH for more than a few kms...

AFAIK - 100KMPH cruising is more advisable and doable on Indian roads...

Bajaj Pulsar 220, HH Karisma or the Royal Enfield 500 cc... But none of these would 'cruise' at 120kph, which is anyway an unsafe speed for any Indian road, including highways.

Cruising speed of atleast 120kph, is little difficult for any Indian bike as the current state. Only bike could allow this could be Ninja 250R, the newly launched.
Else, based on my experience on Karizma you easily cruise on 100 or little more than that, without any hitches..!!
I guess even 220 will do it without any problem, Perhaps..!

Well if you have good control on your bike and have enough experience on riding high speeds its not unsafe to ride in those speeds. Also 220, ZMA is very much capable of doing 120-125 continiously [speedo indicated]. Try riding Bangalore-Pune-Delhi on a 220/ZMA.

Agreed, but not cruise. The engines of these bikes will be too much close to the limit that you cant exactly term it as cruising.

Maybe 100-105 can be termed cruising with the zma/bullet 500 if you can handle the vibes.

The P220 should be able to cruise at 110 easy.

@OP you need to give more details so every one can suggest accordingly.

                      hii there.

i think you are not much familiar with touring, u can actually not tour at 120 continuously, the normal touring speed at long runs is 70-80 no matter if its a 100cc splendor or a bigger bike.

remember the most important in touring is to keep the engine at a constant rev and at a same gear. DO NOT go for a sports segment bike like r15 or a pulsar 220 coz it becomes unbarebly painful after a while.

in india keeping the bike (air cooled engines) cool is only possible wen u rev at around 7000 - 7500 rpm so here 2 bikes are good,
1 is the yamaha Fazer (believe me it is actually comfortable than FZ)
2nd is HH Karizma (awesome tourer)

and remarkably both of these bikes give out maximum horses at 700 to 7500 rpm.

if u can afford go for ZMR.

believe me all sports bike are bullshit when it comes to touring.
Giving a lot to a fiero.
Expecting a lot from a fiero.

most premium indian bikes are perfect for a cruising speed of 80-100kmph at max...only the ninja 250 comes close to your requirement
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

I am talking on based on my riding style. 100-105 is bit slow on a open highway if u ask me. 80-100 is sleep mode . If roads are good and open to do 120 cruising at 120 is not a big deal and comfortably. There are roads where I also cruise in 100, and 80's too.

No experience with Bullet but 220/ZMA can do it if Rider and road permits.
