Go for the RTR. If you feel that it has a lot of vibrations, you can try the GS 150R.

I will suggest CBZ extreme in 150 cc segment..
My roommate has this bike and i own karizma ... Whenever I ride cbz extreme every time i feel the same ride quality, stablity and pick-up as of Karizma.
I have done 110 kmph on this bike many times on highway the bike has great stablity at such high speeds too.
New dare devil edition has got killer looks too ...

best thing : it has smoothest honda unicorn engine tuned by Hero honda for extra bhp...
Test ride this bike at least once , i am damn sure you will fall in love with this bike ... I call it mini karizma

cbz-xtreme sure is good if you can do with the styling and the colour combos...I personally rate it above RTR 160 when it comes to overall ability
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

          Hi,
          Sorry for the late reply...
I went to suzuki showroom on 16th but it was closed early, on 17 also i cant get a look.
          Then i came to pune,
And today i went to kothrud suzuki 4 kms from my place just to know that they are closed for the week and will open only on monday.
Now i am late for the office and thinking of ditching gs150.

              1) same maintenence as carb RTR
2)its not Dc powered , to convert to Dc you will have to find a mechanic good with electronics
3)all are standard but the Rim stripe is not always given though some dealers give for free .
              4) RTR fi only in orange , yellow ,gray ,black
              5) no side stand alarm

You'll hav to keep it below 45ish or above 75-80ish... dat's what a friend of mine just told me over the phone. he's got an Fi version.
                .
+1 (I love this bike since I bought it)

Being an apache owner I want to tell you something like only if you love speed and power go for apache rtr cause as xionite told you can only feel the superbness of the bike if you are driving more than 75 kmph mark. below that it's not advisable cause there are many bikes which are available with lesser power but awesome smoothness. now as you told that you are not so keen on higher end speed so you need to take the call whether to go for it or not. My personal suggestion will be rtr will not give you a chance to regret.

@dannyn81: your answers (as per my knowledge)

                1. Carb and efi version both share the same maintenance expenditure bracket.
                2. headlight is ac, but you can make it dc if you want to. (headlight power is poor. so try changing the bulbs to get better view)
                3. Those are standrads, at least for me it was already fitted in the bike when i took the delivery.
                4. No it's not. white comes only in rtr 180 segment.
                5. No side stand alarm is not there. I know those are useful tool for a bike but I don't think that should be someone's criteria for selecting a bike, if you love your bike you will check it wheather the side stand is on or you have compromised it.

                    @ danny:
6: K and Nmight give you 1 Bhp max with proper upjetting.
                    7: not sure.
8: Get MRF zappers. Otherwise get IRC.
9: Get it lubed and maintained well. It wont do any harm if it's maintained well.
10: Vibes only in midrange AFAIK.

and dude. Please take care not to post in SMS lingo. It's confusing mate

Dude, I'm completly clueless about the racing kit. many still talk about TVS releasing higher cams, pistons, exhausts and better ECU's. Not sure if they have hit the market. Please post a introduction as soon as you can.

                            Ride safe!

                              Finally bought Apache 160 rtr

                              I guess you were right.
I was not able to compromise with my 'feel' factor so I bought apache neglecting all its shortcomings...

I feel too good now for the bike but have a problem and need help on that. I picked it up after registration so i observed following.
                              1) My new bike was already ran 66kms when i brought it.
                              2) It was showing a top speed of 65
                              3) Front tire is slightly wobbling.

I feel the cetury tvs here at bhandarkar road has given test ride on my bike.

66kms is too much. how far is the rto from the showroom? when i got mine it had run some 20+ kms only

                                2) It was showing a top speed of 65
This is not a problem. The person who took it to the rto would have driven it at that speed. Dont worry it wont harm your bike. Think of the fate of other bikes which doesnt have the provision of showing top speed

                                3) Front tire is slightly wobbling.
This might also be a new owner fear ride your bike for some kms and if you think it really wobbles take it to the service center. also try taking your bike on a lonely stretch and at speeds of around 40km/h take both your hands off the handle bar and check whether the bike goes straight. If it does then no problem with your bike.

P.S do this carefully else you might end up tasting mud

I feel the cetury tvs here at bhandarkar road has given test ride on my bike

you should have noted down the frame number of the bike they give for test ride and when you select your bike in the showroom you should note it's frame and engine number too. Now that its too late don't worry. They would not have given the test ride bike to you because they would need the test ride bike to give test rides

congrats for your possession and welcome to the tribe
