If you don't care about the power, i would suggest you the Discover 100 Dts-si.
I just had a test ride of the bike yesterday and it was amazing!!..Big bike feel, nice handling even in heavy traffic, very comfortable, smooth power delivery.
    Price- Rs.47600 On-road.

Next in the 125cc i would have suggested you the Yamaha Gladiator. But i can see that you have XCD 135 in your options. Its also a good bike. Also you should consider the fact that Bajaj SVC's are much better than Yamaha SVC's in most places!!..right!..

Please avoid Zeus..It's pretty tiny and diminutive..I think its wheel base is as much as HH 100cc bikes..1230mm i think...Also the Heat 125 is not pleasant looking and has no self starter option..may be thats why it costs only 42-43k.
The Zeus will come upto 52k on road..With that sort of money you can actually buy a Gladiator or XCD 135.

Yes, you can consider the discover 100 as well. It has got self-start, 5 gears, LED tail light. It doesn't seem to be a 100 cc by its looks. The fuel efficiency is excellent. Would save a lot of bucks in the long run.

i personally would suggest the xcd 125... amazing vehicle with decent performance abilities.. no disc though... u can still get one installed...

or u can rather go for the discover 135 cc..... it comes with disc. gives a pretty good mileage too.. it really doesnt matter if u have 5th gear or not if u ask me... lesser the gears , more the torque in each gear...hassle free cruising...not many changes...

the 4 reasons or features youve given, u have to sacrifice either one of it..keep the budget, u can still manage without either the disc or without the 5th gear..thats what i mean to say... still thats only a suggestion...

let me know what u've decided..all the best .....

Does gladiator have good headlights ? .
And how much mileage does it provide ? .
And does it have a good mid range . Gladiator does not have much powerful mid range , so for city use I doubt its performance when over taking or so .

And discover 135 inspite of having gas shocks is less comfortable than gladi.
Then I cant think of reason for bajaj using them . They should try to figure it out .

I am sincerely asking , dont know .

I dont think its mileage will be anyway near disco 100 .
Never knew star city provides the same kinda mileage .

Trigger mate decide your priorities . And trust me either go for the best bike or the best VFM - disco 100 . Nothing in between . And be practical , I suggest this from experience .

About 100 cc , disco 100 would be good . DC headlights and other advantages .
Hope is a good thing ,
may be the best of things and
no good thing ever dies .

Get busy living or get busy dying .

Weekend update: went to Bajaj's & Yamaha's showroom.

No TR was available for Bajaj’s, hence just looked at them.

XCD 135: Looking promising, with a price tag of 52k OTR in Navi Mumbai after cool 2k discount. Digital consoles, big tires, and good mileage as well. Does extra ‘S’ as in DTS-Si make any sense? Is it going to make any difference in mileage or whatsoever?

            Discover 135
: XCD's Big bro, one ‘S’ less - only DTSi, with 56k (no discount) OTR.

            Discover 100
: Real contender with 46k OTR.

Yamaha Gladi: TR was available for Gladi SS. Ride/Engine was super smooth. Graffiti isn't available, hence no price confirmation, it would be around 52-53k. Toe shift gear was a letdown, how am i supposed to change gears with slippers on? Again, Yamaha A.S.S. is doubtful, as i'm reading here and there. Mileage as well…

After giving a thought again, it seems my priorities are comfort with *very good* FE within 50k. Don't want to spend much, as this is not for a long term. Power, not sure if 100cc suffices my thirst. But, looking forward for Disco 100 as this is the one fulfilling all my requirements. Now need to test ride it before finalizing anything.

            Quest is still on...

toe shift wont be a problem at all bro. It's just a wrong notion...unless you wear leather shoes everyday and don't want to spoil it
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch
