  • ZMR for a current ZMA owner?

My friend who owns a ZMA (2005 model) is planning to go for the ZMR..

Would it be a good option?

Or should he wait for something else?

      Suggestion !!

i also ride the old karizma 03 old one with golden badge on fuel tank 225 stickers.

I drove the bike on 29k in 6 years not a single scratch on it look like new after wash & wax.

I sold my bike on 15 sep for the new zmr and give 90k to the dealer in 23 sep for the zmr & still waiting !!!!!

My ZMR is going first in city & first delivery from the showroom in November.

That depends on your needs brother .. Tell us what are his needs..
If he is happy with the present Karizmas performance for his use then he will definilty love the new ZMR ..

New ZMR is old karizma with many new things like FI , Rear Disk , TUbelsess tyres and after all with more mielage .. He will definitly love it.
But if he is expecting a power upgrade he has to think twice , even though the new ZMR got FI the increase in power will not be that much for a person who is using karizma now..

The performance of ZMR and ZMA-R are both same. ZMR is marginally better at high speeds. Apart from this, if somebody is looking for FI, new speedo, tubeless tyres and other gadgets, then ZMR is a very good update.

depends on his needs bro...if he is looking for something more powerful,ZMR won't be a good option...ZMR is a definite step up from from the karizma with useful and functional bits to boot...ask him to have a TD when it's available and let him decide...

Yup guys he loves the performance of ZMA...but he has also cribbed abt cold starts and stuff.

I suggested him the R15 but he doesnt find the position quite comfortable.

I was just curious about the cooling part of the ZMR, since I myself own the 2008 model ZMA and it heats up a lot.
How would this one (ZMR) do with full fairing?

Would the oil cooler do its job well?
