Everyone will suggest their own 'best' bike, even though its not in the choices u mentioned. There's nothing like an unbiased opinion here (or its very rare). I see ppl suggesting the same bike over and over again even though ppl don't mention it in their choices. Lots of ppl have too much brand loyalty. They can never suggest another bike outright. See, ppl have to justify their purchases I'm not saying this against anyone in particular. Obviously, one knows best about their own ride so they will suggest that only. There are very few ppl with a balanced opinion. I don't think you should base your spending of 1lakh rupees on the inputs here, for something you'll have to live with for years.

Best, you know how they look right? Take a test ride and decide on the handling yourself. The bike which rides away with your heart is the one you should go for. It's an undisputed fact that the R15 has the BEST handling. RTR is next, you can consider the RTR 180. You should decide.

Ha ha ha. Then we have to remove the 'What Bike' section. People can just have a test ride and buy.

^^^if the choice is really tight,TD is the only option...We can only suggest which ones to go for but in the end he'll be buying it and he has to like it...

          Hi guys!

yashasvi08, R15 is really a bike that deserves attention. You can include RTR 180 in the queue too. Both have an aggressive look, great performance and good balance and breaking. Kmpl is almost same for all of these.

P220 lacks in breaking. Breaks are not as good as it should be in a 220 power mill. Tough its the quickest and fastest in the lot (with 21.04 Ps @ 8500 RPM and 19.12 Nm @ 7000 RPM), which does matters.

R15 and RTR 180, both is generates quite good power and the also very good at the corners.

Most importantly, I got a flying new from Yamaha guys Yamaha is launching a new bike in coming AutoExpo. I'll suggest you to wait till, if you can. If the news is correct, then there could have some better option for you.

If they launch a really-really good performance bike, I think it worth waiting...
Any ways, finally you'll have to decide.
I know, its hard to wait for a bike bro.

                  @ TnT u r damn rite buddy

anyways i will give my inputs
1).i have tried my frnds yamaha R15 i m 5'11'' i would say it is not as comfortable when u r stuck in traffic n u have to move ur feet frm brakes again n aigan as u have to lean extra to get to brakes.and if u r on the heavier side it looks bad (as my frnd is, and it looking like he is ra**ing the bike)..so test it if it feels gud it's very gud in city rides..the torque is no comparison with anyone else.
2).i ride p-220 dts-i i feel more comfortable on this.handling is too gud more than zma(as i have used p 150 also) on corners it sails like a boat
but ya sometimes i have felt rear brakes are not as punctual as it should be,my bike is still young though.needs 1st service.
3).if u have to decide on looks zma is totally out of list.very old styling better choose zmr if budget allows.zmr has all the things..comfort, performance and looks.

If you're in it purely for the looks, then why isn't the new zmr on your list? I mean the only gripe anyone could have about that bike is that I doesn't has a liquid cooled engine and a marginal increase of .6bhp over the zma-r. But she sure is a looker. Do consider it as well.
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Most of the tall riders complained about R-15. Take a test ride and see for yourself if it is comfortable for you or not.

lol... guess so. I don't want to be one of the ppl I described so I'm trying to keep my input to a minimum, no hear-say, only facts.

Btw, ZMR can be mistaken for a Busa unless its really close..! Saw a ZMR on the road for the first time in Hyd.

seriously !!!! Busa!!! no ways man.... busa is too curvy ...zmr on the other hand has more stricter angles on the faring...difference is notable....
sigpicGirls are like roads, more the curves, more the dangerous they are.

To ride or not to ride?? is a....
                            very very stupid question....

It's not bad. It's the same as the FZ, but since the bike seems to be aimed at tourers, it is insufficient for highway use.
