Well you haven't heard the great American quote "There is no replacement for displacement" .

I have always said buying a bike is "Dil ka maamla hai", buy what your heart says off course after test driving all them.

    P135 is a good choice.

So though its a 135 cc but still I count it as a 150cc ....

The spec of pulsar 135 ls says itself....
the P135 is almost a sec faster to 100kmph than it's larger 150CC sibling, but most of the power develops at high RPM so you wont be enjoying the FULL 13.5PS till you rev it to bonkers 9000,and being a 135CC engine (though i've not ridden it) i believe it'll definately show you the strain, but being a 4 VALVE it'll be smooth as butter at low revs.

if you want performance, handling and bangs for the bucks, then go straightway to TVS showroom and buy yourself the RTR180, cuz it's the best performance and handling machine you can buy under 75K..

but if you're too into relaxed riding, want peace of mind riding for years go and buy FZ..

P135 is very compact in dimentions and if you'll park these three bikes side by side it'll definately look moped beside the FZ and BAJAJ "SUNNY" beside the RTR180.

On the contrary current 150 cc bikes with the 2 valve configuration show strain at high revs.. and the 4 Valve P135LS remains smooth at high revs.

Don't agree.. the P135LS will be dimensionally equall if not bigger than the RTR 160/180.

+1...actually,my RTR180 looks quite puny when I park it alongside my ZMA... The dimensions of the P135 seem pretty similiar to the RTRs.Maybe the front is a lil wider but that's it,rest all are the same.Besides, for "quests" body frame,it'll do just fine.No probs there...

In that case, have you seen a Fazer&ZMA parked side by side? I don't need to tell you which looks bigger!

like i said the probs which FI was facing has been fully solved by the introduction of the new batch of injectors, but i'll recommend RTR180 over it as you can play with the settings and it has more power with less price.

Guys sorry for late reply.... was quite busy..

Finaly I have made up my mind to go for RTR 180.. Thanks to all the reviews in ownership threads..

But still I have some doubt ..so think to clarify before owing the beast.

                          1. Is that the sporty stance will give back pain in long run? My daily commutu around 40-45 KM.
                          2. What about the tyres .. I really got some nasty feedback on TVS tyres from every where..?
                          3. Will the bike is good for a newbie biker...(Not complete newbie..had good experience riding 100 cc bikes ,,but new to 150+ ..specially with disk brakes.)

Guys need your feedback ..... As I am going to get the bike by this weekend...

                          Going for TD tommorow....

                            1. Theoretically such an aggressive stance can give you back pain. Practically people do long tours on RTR, it's just finding the right posture for yourself even on aggressive stance. So aks for good posture tips from the owners who use it for long riding too. Ask renny, manan ..
                            2. As per all reviews tyres are OK on dry surface but on wet you have to be really cautious(which is true for most of the tyres specially on Indian roads which become mud glistened after a shower).
                            3. It is really a nice handler and shouldn't be a problem after 100cc riding experience. For disc brakes you may need to get habitual of, try some good braking exercise on less crowded road or fields to get accustomed to braking power of the bike. That's in any case a general guideline for a bike with powerful brakes.

Go ahead with TD, check brakes too but on relatively empty roads.

yeah, such stance can give you back pains, but as far as i know,RTR doesn't have a very aggressive stance and wouldn't be much of a problem.
