for the highlighted part, the answer is no.You dont have the Fi version for the street model...the options that you've mentioned are confusing with lots of d's,t's,f's and i's......I think you're going for either the dtsi or the dtsfi(half faired ones)?...in that case, the former wins hands down when it comes to performance. The fi version though has better throttle response and even costs more...
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

Is the FI still available. Last I checked, it was not!

              1. 220 Dtsi is faster than 220 FI

              2. There are two models of 220 DTSI F and S (Faired and Streetfighter)

              3. Fi is not available, and there was only faired version of FI.

I think FI version is available on the special order. I dont know whether they charge you extra amount or not. But Im not sure about the availability

Engine & fairing vibrations in pulsar 220 dts-fi

I own a 2008 pulsar 220 DTS-FI ,it has done 22500 kms ,the problem is that i experience a lot of vibrations once i cross 4000rpm@54 kmph ,and once i cross 6000 rpm @83 kmph the bike vibrates so much dat the pillion rider cant keep his foot on rear foot pegs , and the top speed of ma bike is 140 (dat time my bike clocked 13000kms and that too the road was a slope and fully crouched posture it actually did 134 on a straight road ) last week when i got my bike serviced and tried hitting top speed bt my bike didnt exceed 112@10000rpm in 4 th gear and maxed only 120 plzzz help me guys i am very disappointed with the performance of my bike . what should i do to improve the performance. PARTS CHANGED - fuel filter every 5000kms,air filter every 10000 kms, spark plugs at 22000kms ,oil every 3000-5000 kms (because i use synthetic oil ) , i even changed the steel plates .

hi, Pulsar 220 F is not availabe in the market now. the new one is Pulsar 220 FS. bajaj has upgraded its engine and its better than the previous 220F. and the new FS is giving more millage than F. i have a Pulser 220FS. just love it. but now i am facing a problem with it. my front break is not working properly. if i push it little bit, it locks the front wheel totally. i think its problem with break fluid.. does anybody has any idea about it??

nop buddy. Bajaj has not changed the model. they have upgraded the engine and performance. and made it more fuel efficient.. the previous 220 gave the millage around 28km/ltr. the new 220FS is giving millage around 35-38 km/ltr in city. previously it was DTS-Fi engine n now it is DTS-i engine.. DTS-Fi is not available in the market now. u can ask ur local probiking dealer also.
