  • Please help...

    Hi,

I have been riding a Pulsar 200 for last 2 and a half years. Now I am planning to change my bike. I want to buy a bike with good power, performance, ride quality, reliability and an average mileage. I have the below mentioned bikes in my mind:

    1. Karizma ZMR.
    2. R15.
    3. Pulsar 220F.
    4. Fazer.

Please help me to choose the correct bike for me (And suggest only from the above mentioned bikes).

    Thanks,
    NJ.

What do you want it for? Touring, commuting, ripping?

Anyways my choice would be ZMR or R15.

As a ZMA-R owner am quite super satisfied with everything it has to offer though average is a bit low, ZMR is the answer to that.
R15 will be low on torque, though a perfect machine over-all.

      Why dint I suggested a P220:
About P220, I still have issues with its braking capabilities & not-so-comfortable feel, though its the highest torqued machine among your choices.

        1. Karizma ZMR.
        2. R15.
        3. Pulsar 220F.
        4. Fazer.

        1. Nice Touring Machine... Looks good to me but it is too big for a City...

        2. The best among the lot you will love every bit of it though the power below 6k RPM is less get past the 6k mark and see it beating every indian bike on road.. Best handling and braking a best buy..

        3. A perfect VFM machine.. You will overtake any vehicle on indian roads with this but sad part is its handling when you are in a traffic.. Fastest indian Tag too..

        4. mm it Looks good Only! better will be FZ16 but this one is one of the best handler..

From PULSAR 200 to 220 will not give you much or any feeling..

My verdict should go for the R15 just rev it hard and see it make you fly.. best experience you will get...

          Dude

In My opinion go for the You should go for r15 or karizma zmr as they both are good in reliability and durability also r15 is the best handling bike in the indian market.

            1. Buy ZMA if you want a good torque without revving much in city rides & touring
            2. Buy R15 if you want to rev & ride & especially when it comes to track
            3. Buy P220 if you can want everything & VFM & crib later on the quality
            4. May be your personal taste, this has got less power compared to all the above 3; if you're impressed with this, go for it.

I've one question for you - Did you try TD on all the 4 motorcycles? Which one did you like?

About ZMR, the only thing thats making me to think again and agina is the "Heating Issue".. Many owners are posting about this issue in the ZMR Ownership thread. I didnt hear about such problems in any other Indian bikes.. Is it because the cooling system is not so effective for the engine with full-fairing !!!

Any bike used more than its limit will heat up. ZMR is very much a new bike & if people are complaining, I think its their first over 220cc bike & they are most prolly treating (readver using) it like its an SBK, which ZMR is not. I dont htink there is any problem with the bike, the reviews I got are pretty good.

Still consider R15, if you are not much of a torque crazy person.

P.S: ZMR is soon to arrive in my stable.

Only R15 would make real sense since you have been riding a 200cc Pulsar. Though you will miss your 200s toruqe and linear power delivery, the overall feel is completely different and that is what I feel is an "upgrade".....

Upgrading to 220 would not make much of a sense. You might take a few seconds lesser to hit a target but the overall ride 'feel' would remain the same. Similar is the case with ZMA-R, its one beautiful bike but in my definition it would not qualify as an 'upgradable' bike considering your case. Had you been riding a 150cc bike, ZMA-R would have been a very worthy contender.

ZMR....I liked the prospects of this bike before I rode it......After riding it, I feel ZMA-Rs legacy remains intact.........

dude r15 abd zmr is the best buy for u after the 200!!! u wont notice ne change in the 220 after the 200 same engine with better looks but no doubt the fastest bike in town so far. the maintainance of r15 even in free service is around 1200 buks. so be ready to shell out that much if u take the r15!!! dont no about the zmr maintainance though!!! i guess it will be the same cause both r fi tech with liquid cooling features.!!! think about it!!

it has to be a ZMR or P220F , forget about fazer if you are a tourer , coz that's a city communter in disguise of a tourer. ( No offence ) .

ZMR:- because of its tech and the sensors .

P220F:- pure power ,looks and adrenaline Rush.

R15:- if you are a race enthusiast
