I don't know why this comment is being passed. Just once ride it in heavy traffic youll know for yourself. I Have ridden a R15 , ZMA-r , P220 in heavy traffic of Hyderabad where in almost i had to go in 2nd gear max. The Beauty was P220 and ZMa were just a boon. R15 gave a heavy wrist pain and lower back ache.

well.. as everyone already said.. there is NO power upgrade for you..

so only the feel can be changed..

P220: if you love P200.. and want minor upgrade.better headlamp etc. etc.
ZMR: If you want to run away from Pulsar family and want something different. a relaxed tourer with good looks

.. same power..
R15: cornering junkie

and handling and braking..

Adding there RE Classic 500: feel tons of torques under your seat..

Fazer is a 150cc.. you will miss the pickup and speed of P200.. have you run a scooty after running your P200

.. lessen that feeling to 40%.. but you will get it..

better wait for next 6 months.. every honda/bajaj/tvs all are being speculated launching a bigger bike.. upto 250cc..

if you buy a ride now.. better ride on your P200 to showroom and take a long test ride of the chosen machine..

Would like to know first, if you had any TD amongst the prefered list, if not then recommend to have test drive first , feel the punch's & niggles of the bike & then decide..

In any way.. many suggestions are around but if you really want to have an upgrade then go for (in chronical order)
1) R15 (If budget is no issue) else;
2) P220S best VFM, no niggules as such its more refined with same tech feature as of P220F . with soft compound tyres. 55W Halogen bulb all DC etc..
3) Karizma - R (not ZMR)

Apart from above you wont find any upgrade for self as mind it u are already riding P200 which itself a high end machine.. judgement is yours..

I have created the wish list considering all the aspects like budget, power etc. As I mentioned, dont suggest me any bike other than thats in the list. And yes, I will definitely go for a test ride once I finalize (with your help) a bike.

I have done that too but it based on personal preference maybe my height is less for 220 I am 5.6 and I personally felt 220 is very heavy for ME to handle in traffic.. whereas R15 was very easy for ME

1. karizma has good smooth engine & it has proven to be a perfect tourer.. but a little underpowered i.e. 17 ps.
2. r 15 is better than karizma but only problem is its sitting position if u wish to travel long.. & if ur body build is a bit large the bike will look like a toy b4 u..
3. p220 has more power than karizma though i wasn't satisfied by driving it personally after driving karizma..
4. i suggest nvr go for fazer.. it will drink your money like anything its only 150cc with normal power, averaging around 200 cc bikes and also costing u more..

I would suggest you try Yamaha or HH instead of sticking with Bajaj..!
R15 would be my pick..if i were in your place..!
ZMA-R/ZMR is also a good option but the only difference might be the much more refined engine..!

Don't forget to take a test drive...!

After riding a P200..how can you be satisfied with Fazer..?

That was included because of its looks.. But I agree with u on ur above (In RED) statement..

And Yes I will definitely go for a test ride before buying one..

I have removed the Fazer and P220 from my list..

Now actually I am getting confused between R15 and ZMR.. I am finding it very difficult to choose any one between the 2 because both the bikes are great at their own segment

.. I need a very STRONG reason to choose or skip one to satify myself..

Please guys give me a good reason..

there are some rumors going on with zmr.. dunno how true they are.. it may a sort of gamble.. if your body build is not big you can chose over r15..
but don't forget to test drive anything which comes in your mind..
and if your body build is good.. you can try with the true beasts like RE..

Guys, I need your help to finalize my bike.. I have already deleted 2 options and now facing really hard time to decide between the Karizma ZMR and R15.

I can see many ZMR owners are posting different issues like heating issue, RVM and faring vibration issue, Clutch and gear shifting issue etc in the ZMR Ownership thread.. And this is wat is worrying me.. Though the bike received very good feedback in different auto mags..

Also there are some rumors going on about a HH and Bajaj are making 250cc bikes and the launch is expected by next Diwali

(I strongly doubt that).

Then about R15, when I browsed the Net and some auto magazines I can see it has got very good ratings except its ergonomics. People say that the bike is not suitable for long rides (as bach pain starts after a long ride)..

So now I am feeling like waiting for some more time to see if the rumors about the 250 bikes come to reality and also to save some good amount of money.. So that after sometime if any new 250 cc bike is launched, I can be ready to buy it immediately or think about the other option like the Ninjaaaaa

Wait for Apache 220 or 250 it will be worth it.. else blind eye the ZMR and get the R15..

As you said they re both great motorcycles, choose the Karizma ZMR if you like your power delivery to be very smooth and if you re a bit of a laid back person.

The R15 if you like breathing down corners with hellfire and come out exiting in one piece and full of corner speed.

i and a couple of people i know have traded their 223/220 cc machines in favor of the 150 and they are happy

R15>P-220>ZMR(awesome bike, but plagued by issues and quality of parts(plastic) is suspectible

I would either pick P-220 or R15, can't go wrong with both

^^P-220 with 4 valves might be out(it has to be)
