Regarding Yamaha YZF-R15
Hi fellow xBHPians,
Last Saturday I booked my new ride, the R15 from Yamaha Showroom, Pune.
The color is a Midnight Black and I would be expecting the bike delivered to me in 15-20days. Can't wait to ride. However, I've some concerns regarding the bike.
1. Regarding the servicing of the bike, I've heard there needs to be a change of oil filter in the first service. Is it so?
2. If any R15 owner in Pune in this thread, could you please let me know what service center is good to get the bike serviced.
3. I commute to my office driving a total of ~50kms. Are there any performance upgrades I need to look for to better/spruce up my ride.
What best fuel I should use for. Speed or XtraPremium, etc.?
4. What safety riding gears would you suggest for the new bike. I would not like to make any modifications to the stock parts though right now. May be at a later sage.
5. What riding gear should I opt for?
