oh that's a bad FE @sheel... go to do something on it... i am getting a mileage around 38-42 under almost every type of riding... but i would say FZ's mileage was varying like anything upto 10K kms... once we done a NH7 trip which was meant to blast... i was almost always above 115kmph and i got 35-36 mileage... my least was 33 at the initial phase... 25 is really terrible... i second everybody that FZ's mileage is really less compared to any 150cc bikes... but i can't really believe a mileage of 25, are you getting that mileage consistently? if yes, check what's the probs. i can tell 100% FZ returns mileage between 35-40 for sure...

Yea, thats true, Always test ride and see what you like, but i was just saying the 1 thing that i do like about the dazzler hehe...

Also, someone here has modded the rear rim and added a disk brake. it looks cool but where did they get a rim that size with disk brackets??? thats what i am confused about!

This one is a Fazer, earlier i used to ride the FZ(had a 'zma at that time) and had managed to squeeze 45+kmpl on many occasions in varied riding conditions

had given it for a through check today, if it doesn't mend its ways, i am showing it the door despite knowing that it was/is the perfect companion of the 15 and shall miss its terrific braking/handling

Thanks indeed for all your responses..

At last I have decided to go for Yamaha FZ-16. As i'm new to bangalore, can any xbhpian from bangalore guide me the right dealer to buy from..?

I'm looking for the dealer who care for his customers and has decent number of bikes to choose. Coz, I would like to choose my bike rather than accepting what they give.

I like to thank again "team xbhp" for helping me to zero-in my dream bike..
