    Help for first bike - gift for myself on my birthday

    Hi I am looking for my first bike in 150cc segment
    Need looks and also comfort.Mostly will be riding in hyderabad city roads.
    Need pillion comfort also.This is my first bike so need good handling.
    As I am still in my youth I definitely need good looks.
    My height is 5'9''+ and weight 65 kg
    I am mostly going to buy Unicorn Dazzler but can you people guide me why I should look for other bikes.
    Need the bike by july 13 at any cost cause its my birthday.want to give myself a good gift.

    PS:I was having dilemma over CBZ-X or Apache RTR 160 until dazzler was launched

      Go for the Dazzler!

      I say go for the Dazzler. Basically it is the Unicorn with some changes.

      The RTR is a good bike if you want to ride hard but the vibrations are sometimes, on the higher side. It is also not so good for the pillion as the suspension is a bit on the harder side.

      The CBZ shares it engine with the Unicorn but it does not have the mono-suspension which definitely affects the handling positively.

        What about the height factor for Dazzler...I am 5ft 9'' so wud it be comfortable on dazzler

              I don't think FZ16 suits me as it is lesser in height and as well does not give pillion comfort and ofcourse FE is too bad for FZ 16... though I agree it looks more sportier than others

                  I think the waiting period is 2 months all over India.You need to check your local dealer to confirm the same.

                    If your budget permits go for R15, best of the lot and no competition in 150cc class. Uni is a good bike, but before taking TD of Uni also check GS150R.

                      I suggest you 3 bikes... Apache 160 fi, CBZ-Xtreme,Pulsar 150 UG5..I am not talking about honda dazzler because in hyderabad waiting period for any honda bike is atleast 2 months..
                      1) Apache RTR 160 has fuel injection... No other 150cc bike can compete it(except R15)..It has some issues... vibrations,uncomfortable pillion seating,etc...
                      2) CBZ-XTREME-- I think it is the best bike in 150cc segment(except R15).. Brilliant pickup,handling,engine is very smooth....
                      P3) ulsar UG5- This is latest upgrade of pulsar 150... Bhp has gone up from 14.9 to 15.2,Excellent pickup,top-end, handling quiet good...
                      I recommend you to test drive these bikes and select the best one...
                      These bikes are easily available and dont need any waiting time...

                        Actually I was having my eye on RTR but because of pillion comfort and the height paroblem I changed my decision to CBZ-x but then CBZ has problem with looks...it has kind of a decent and calm guy kind of looks ... Pulsars though they are good I don't want to buy them as I see plenty of them on the road....
                        So was decided on CBZ though not convinced with the looks and cbz doesn't feature digital console but then Dazzler came up and it looks perfect for me ...

                        I just checked with 2 honda showrooms in hyderabad ... one of them said it takes around 15days to get the dazzler and other said 1 month.... so if I have to take dazzler then I have to decide quickly

                          Thats good,, Many said that engine of Dazzler is more refined than the previous Unicorn... If waiting period of Dazzler is only 15 to 30 days then I think you should go for it....Best of luck brother....

                            Just test driven Dazzler in bangalore white field honda showroom....and its perfect for me I thought ... I liked the red one ... I ll mostly book the dazzler in hyderabad in the next week
