      My shortlist are :

      1.HH Hunk
      2.CB Dazzler

I know that CB dazzler outperforms hunk. But here in "Trichur-kerala" they are having 8 months delay in delivery for dazzler..
i cant wait that much long.

So is Hunk a wise option....?
here HH service is very good.. that is also a factor behind my selection/..

      Help me out friends...
I am from Trichur too. I have actually ridden the dazzler. There is a small increase in the power delivery and pickup but the same old refined engine from the old unicorn does its job. the bike is light and handling is great. Ride comfort and suspension is good. But the main problem is the looks. the cb twister looks better than this. This is actually a small bike, smaller than the unicorn.... In trichur, there is a delay of 6-8 months for delivery. Actually the dazzler is not worth the wait of 8 months( since its not a superbike ). I suggest go for its alternatives. The Hunk is a great looking bike, has the same powerful engine of the cbz, has 50+ mileage, comes from Hero Honda, but just 1 disadvantage; the bike is not much seen. Many suggest engine problems, but there is not much problem. Consider the alternatives like apache 160,unicorn, gs 150, fz...

Please post your initial impressions, especially feedback on ride quality. How well does it absorb bumps & potholes?

              Hello Spykid,

Congrats for your Hunk .... I am also planning for a new bike in 150 - 180 cc bracket. I sorted out P-180 Plasma Blue and HH Hunk Ebony Gray color. Dazzler is purchased by my roommate so I am not taking it.

I am from Baroda and here the HH showroom people don't give test ride. Only after I wrote to HH cust care I was given a test ride. It rode almost like Dazzler. Not much change.

Can you tell about the mileage of the bike and any problems if you have seen in it ?

              -Ankur

Congrats on getting a Hunk. I bought my Hunk in September'10 and has so far driven around 7300 kms including a 1200 kms to and fro Bangalore. The vehicle has steady performance. For me the most comfortable speeds have been 65 and 80 while the bike quite easily cruises at 95-100 kmph.

Seeing as Hunk has the exact same engine as CBZ and Honda Unicorn, your choice is good,
                1993-1997 - BSA WildCat
                1998-2002 - Hercules TopGear
                2002-2010 - Honda Activa
                2010-2013 - Hero Honda Hunk
                2013-Death - Royal Enfield Electra

                  Hello..
I'm interested in buying a motorbike and according to my budget, which is 70,000 rs, i had two options ::

                  HeroHonda Hunk
                  Honda Dazzler

But, after reading reviews and doing test drives of both these vehicles, i finally opted for Hunk.
Then, my friend, who 'knows' about bikes, said that Hero & Honda are going to split, and if that happens, the servicing and also the availability of spare parts would be hard to get, which will affect my biking on a great scale.
Taking this into consideration, should i go for Dazzler instead of Hunk? or the information i got is wrong?

So, if any of you guys here can shed a light on this matter, it would be a great help!

                  Thank you! =) prashob666

As far as Spares & Service is concerned there is lot of mis-information spread about Hero Honda,
                  1. Couple of years back Honda came with a proposal to Hero Honda that all Hero Honda vehicles use 'Honda' branded spares in market. This means a doom to Hero's ancillary units (jobs/business/profits/etc).
                  2. Hero Honda strongly objected to it so did Honda, and today we all know they are divorced.
                  3. Hero will continue to produce spares on it's own and make it available to Hero Honda customers, it has no relation with Honda at all.
                  4. As far as svc is concerned, every year there is constant expansion of HH svc stations.
                  5. Inspite of divorce, the sales of HH products has not gone down in fact they are doing well.
So essentially you need not worry about spares & service.

Coming to Hunk vs Dazzler, just test drive them, or even borrow ride them and then decide for yourself. I am not sure what are OTR of these bikes in your town, if both are prized above your budget, try the all new CBZ Xtreme & Unicorn. All are great bikes, you can't go worng with any of these, My choice would be CBZ XTREME

Thank you vipin_s for that reply.

I've never test rode a CBZ Xtreme. I'm going to test drive it sooner and will make a choice!

                    Thanks again! xD
