Second of all, it is impossible for us here to clear your confusion if you don't divulge other details about yourself and regarding your expectations from your purchase.
Please reply with the following:
Height
Weight
*Budget
*Purpose of using the bike (commuting / touring / both)
*Average daily commute (km)
*Average monthly touring (km)
*Usage pattern (Highway %, City %)
*Back Problems (if any)
If you do provide us with most of the above, we would even be able to recommend you something which you might not even have considered by now but will be better for your requirement.

Hi ,
First Of all Learn to respect all machines.....
Its good that you love pulsar but saying Honda, TVS, bikes are bullshit is such a lame statement....
You gonna ride a performance oriented Bike so please grow up ..
Second is When it comes to P180 and P150 ... Please TD both the Bikes ... You can expect Better FE with P150...Also these days almost all cosmetic changes from P180~P200 are replicated on P150 as well.. like split grab rail ,handle bar, split seat etc...
But If you want Power and Performance Go for P180
... FE you can expect somewhere around 45 KMPL with it .. Its gives you a big bike feel and its damn stable on highways even at 115 KPH speeding..
TD both and decide... Just go with wht your heart says

Look, pulsar 180 is a gr8 m/c but if u r thinking about milleage then forget about it. 180cc and mileage don't go hand in hand.
It's a complete performence oriented bike.
now comming to your 150 query......i must say u missed a 'bike' and that is pulsar 135 ls.
It has 13.5 bhp power with just 0.5 bhp diff with pulsar 150cc.
In mileage segment pulsar 135 cc has ARAI tested 68 kmpl tag.
But on road it's anywhere upto 64 to 65 kmpl(Highway). under city condition it's 55 to 58 kmpl.
Mileage diff with pulsar 150 cc is 10 kmpl to 12 kmpl and with 180cc it's about 20 kmpl to 23 kmpl.
now coming to engine , pulsar 135 LS is a 4 Valve engine and only 4 Valve bike made by any indian bike maker.
It's only a kind of bike in the world that comes with a( 135 cc + 4valve ) combo. And till now no such major problems have been reported.
On the style front, it's packed with split seats, split grab rail, p220's handle bar, ruber strip on tank, sporty riding stance(as you have mentioned no back problem).
Overall it's a complete package.
nothing to regreat about.
and last but not the least, All these comes for just only Rs 60k. A 6k to 8k Rs
diff with pulsar 150cc.
for more info u can look for overdrive feb issue. or can check out PULSAR 135 LS ownership thread.

@its meOriginally posted by It's me View PostOh boy...... forgot to add two more thing, its kerb weigt is just 122 kg , So for that reason it is smooth traffic cutter
And
its rear wheel is 1325 mm wide, so super grip on highway.
Pulsar 150 UG 4.5 (latest version) is 15ps and not 14 so its 1.5 more than Pulsar 135. Anyways The extra 20odd kg do nullify that advantage in power:weight but the extra weight does aid highway stability in cross winds and the larger 15lt tank increases range. P135 is much better for the city.
Expected overall Mileage of Pulsars
135 : 58kmpl
150 : 53kmpl
180 : 48kmpl
220 : 42kmpl
You can easily better those figures if you ride with a relaxed right wrist. (Like my 220 just gave me an avg of 45).
Go with Pulsar 180.*
* Also consider Apache 180, almost equal FE, better power:weight, handling, braking. Worse highway ridabilily due to typical (annoying) RTR vibrations at near cruise speeds.Advice is a form of nostalgia.

p180 and p150 are almost similar except 150 has kick and less power.
so if you arent a power freak then go for 150, it would save ur money as well as petrol."Biking is Divine"

so far I have touched 109 on speedo, absolutely no problems with cross winds.. but you do have that dragging feel whenever a heavy vehicle overtakes you.. and it's scary.Originally posted by It's me View Post@ avinashk: Upto now i touched the 70 kmph fig several times on highway(more to be tested), but not seen any problem regarding cross wind or stability.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

IMO.. P180's ride is much better..Originally posted by anmol_1990 View Postp180 and p150 are almost similar except 150 has kick and less power.

@TS
if you are new to biking then better that you start with p135 & later on you can change your bike to a more powerful one. If you want a thrills in biking then you better go for an apache 180 or p180. If you want a 150cc then apache 160 would be much better selection because the p150 comparetively has a less enjoyable ride.NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT
