      Please include following data alongwith your query. It is essential for us to give any suggestions. There are more than a dozen bikes in the range you specified (all Indian manufacturers included) How else can we help you shortlist one?

      * = Required

      Height
      Weight
      *Budget
      *Purpose of using the bike (commuting / touring / both)
      *Average daily commute (km)
      *Average monthly touring (km)
      *Usage pattern (Highway %, City %)
      *Back Problems (if any)
      Advice is a form of nostalgia.

          Dazzler seems to be the answer.

              Another RTR 180.. I hope your Bro does like your bike.. If not, RTR 160. If thats too bland looking, try FZ.

                  Dazzler = Honda, Smooth/Reliable Engine/Gearbox, Mono-Suspension, Lower height, Rear Disk Break, Decent Mileage.

                  FZ16 - Macho(English walla) Styling, Great Ride/Looker, Lower height, will cost around 4-6k more than your budget. Bit low on the fuel efficiency considering others here.

                  RTR 160
                  - Racing DNA , Sportiness. You won't regret buying it for the first few years . Although not many people will recommend it for 40-50km daily travel, 'cause of the stance.

                  Unicorn
                  = Honda, Smooth, Reliable, Mono-Suspension. Not too "look at me" kind of bike, Its more of a gentleman among others, does everything.
                  Hunk / CBZ Xtreme - Hero Honda, Honda engine from Unicorn, costs less than Unicorn. Looks better ?

                    @iwonder

                    I wonder why you are being so harsh on the P220, mine has never even given an avg in that range at all! It has always been minimum 37 maximum 49 mostly 42.

                    And for that matter, even R-15 easily gives 40+

                    And you will be lucky if you can get an FZ in that FE range.

                    FE of ZMR is any day better than any ZMA-R

                    And please complete your list with the worthy additions of Pulsar 150 Discover 150 & Apache 160 (carb) so that the PDF may be used as a reference by many many 'What Bike' Thread owners to come.

                    Also the prices also look quite inconsistent. When i got my P220 (78k), it was 1k cheaper than the ZMA-R (79k). ZMR costs 100k+ all over India.

                    Prices have changed but P220 is not 12k more expensive than ZMA-R ANYWHERE in India.

                      @ iwonder

                      Nice work buddy.. Liked it. But there are some discrepancies here and there. Correct those niggles, and its a really useful link for many, as said above. Some things I noted

                      1. R15 has a top wack of 140 kmph..?
                      2. P180 has a peak power of 17 bhp, not 16.5
                      3. The ex-show room price of P220 shown is actually the on-road price. (And is the on-road above 87 k..? )
                      4. Both Hunk and CBZ Xtreme has similar FE figures, with Xtreme having an edge over, as far as i know. Then why such a large difference..?

                      These are my humble suggestions. Have a look into them, and fill in all the remaining fields.
                      Regards-

                        @antz.bin Yaar, I'm not being harsh on the 220. When I made that list, I tried to get the info from internet/magazines/word of mouth and added it, in fact, I have edited the last post to mention it . Thanks for letting me know.

                        I just posted the list for him to compare the given specifications of the 150cc bikes in his budget range, apologies if I got the facts wrong.
                        Peace \m/
