  • Scooter for my Dad. Options Needed

    Hi Guys,

i know lots about scooters discussed already but still i believe my case is different.

We have 2007-Dec Honda Activa and my dad using it. He finds it difficult with weight and meet some 3-4 accidents nothing major but mostly vehicle fell on his knee and he having problem with that

Also its bit height and he not able to place even one foot fully on ground. But he manages to ride easily with pillion also.

Anyway i decided to sell activa and get a lite weight and low height scooter.

    Please suggest some things.

    Points to consider,

    1. Economy
    2. Low height
    3. Lite weight
    4. Budget ~45
    5. Dad's Age 52 and height ~5.5 weight around 70 .
    Rides: HH SPl (2000-2005) | TVS Vic GLX (2005-2010) | S GS150 R (Current)

Gears: Scoyco JK -17 | Cramster Twister | Cramster Bionics | Vega Boolean

          Hey bro,

YouTube - Autocar: Wego vs. Activa

I feel wego also falls into the same category as the activa. But a better package than acitva acc to the above video. I too feel the same.

Go for rodeo rather than the duro. It looks better and has loads of gadgets(even a digital speedo!).

Or you can even consider the streak. Streak and rodeo are marginally lower on the weight side.

As for the fuel efficiency....all gearless scootterretes(wrong spelling I guess) will give between 35-45. You can't expect more.

            +1

the rodeo would be the best VFM. It has good power & marginally good mileage also.
