Budget? Go for r-15 or 220 or Zma.

If i were you, I wouldnt modify anything! These machines are capable of highspeeds and have some of the best rubbers around (Exception 220 with TVS tyres)
Sit Down, Shut Up and Hang on ....

What does experienced riders say about buying a used CBZ/Pulsar/ Other bike and modding it ?

Buying any bike second hand and modding it is NOT a good idea.
              1) CBZ - Will fleece you with spare parts both time and money wise
              2) Pulsar - Will fleece you with reliability
              3) RTR - Will fleece you with time to wait for spares

For me 3 is convenient over the other two, but then again I am not really one of the experienced ones so I will let others talk too!

Mention the budget and we can suggest better.

I never had a problem with spares. Execpt for the RTR 180 rear mudgaurd that i ordered. Took 2 months to arrive and i still have'nt received the clamp for it. other than that i always get the spares whenever i want.

May be south india recevies better spares than north india
