    Fazer Or Karizma R

    Hi, I am planning to buy a new bike, but confused which one.
    I am not intersted in Bajaj bikes. My budget is some where around 80000
    my purpose is to drive mostly in city, and some times out of the city.
    Fazer has got excellent looks, nice pick up and decent average, fine technology, but lacks in power but I am not a super fast rider, i ride at maximum 110 KM.
    I personally dont like Apache looks and then again its TVS so engine is a bit concern.
    Any other options in that range?

      you are saying you drive at 110kmph and you are not fast anyways at that price a ZMA is overall better purchase then Fazer...

          ZMA is around 1 lac in delhi , and my budget is 80000.
          Is karizma R better than fazer?
          Is fazer capable of going above 100 KMPH comfortably ?

            You are most probably talking about ZMR which costs 1 lakh rupees

            Karizma is an overall better bike than Fazer. Actually apart from the price factor, Fazer doesnt even belong to this segment. Karizma-R, my pick...

              karizma R costs rs 81000 on road(after hike in road tax, earlier it was 77)

              karizma R is way better in all aspects when compared to fazer.

              fazer is same as FZ except the fairing.

              fazer will also give same mileage as ZMA.

                  the fazer is a better handler than karizma R. Styling wise also the fazer is a more head turner than karizma but the fazer is not at all a VFM & it also lacks in power. The karizma R is a better VFM & would be the best choice if you are thinking to ride at 100+ speeds. But if you want to ride in cities mostly then the fazer is much better. The fazer can go at 110kmph but it will scream out like hell. But if you are interested in taking a fazer then go with your heart or you can try out the fz which is much cheaper version of the fazer.


                  PS:- did you tried out dazzler??

                    Leaving handling aside Zima R will outperform PHAJER in every department.
                    Looks are subjective though.

                        i'd put my money on the Karizma and be tension free for years. I had the same before I moved out from delhi and was happy with it to the core.

                            i'd say yes yamaha..

                            I don't know if just want to commute in a bike or ride a bike...

                            If all you want to do is commute get any bike, since your purpose is just to get from one place to another..

                            But if you wanna ride the bike then there are select bikes that you must consider.. For such people who love their bikes and love riding them there are many important parameters to consider and only a few bikes get you the most..

                            the karizma -r and fazer both belong in this category..

                            While the karizma definitely has better pick up and greater top speeds, the fazer excels in handling and ride comfort..

                            since you mostly ride in cities i'd pick comfort and handling over acceleration and top speed.. i'd say yes yamaha..

                            But its your call.. think what you expect from a bike and choose it suitably..

                              ^Ride comfort of Karizma is no less than Fazer and it is better than Fazer. Fazer excels in only handling in city conditions.
