        ALLRIGHTY !

I never really had a thing for 2 wheelers and never actually learnt them until the need arrived. Same was my relationship with my bicycle. It would be shocking for most if I tell you, the only reason I had to learn riding a Bicycle was when my Std 6 tuitions were distant and my dad unavailable to drop me whenever I wanted ( yeah I was a useless brat and I needed tuitions as a kid and yeah you need not re-read, it WAS std 6th ). Well it went on..till my FINAL year in the college ( YES , dont give me those "Dude I dont believe you" Looks !! ) , and believe me when I say I tried learning how to ride a bike on a "Hero Honda Ambition" exactly 3 times before and every single time as a newbie I couldnt pull the bike off the 1st gear.
Clutch was always an issue and i thought my life consisted of those girly scooties and considering how it is with us (then) noobies, nobody dared lending us their bikes for practicing.
I was 4 months short of graduating and the only thing on my head at that point ( which was more of an ego thing ) was learning how to ride a bike ( and not prepare my thesis for my final year endterm ).

I had had enough and I decided I would buy a bike for myself and got myself a P180. I would pull off liners like "soulmate" or "destined bike" ,but honestly there is something called Chemistry between you and your 1st bike, coz what else, if not it, would be the reason I never had hiccups and smoothly rode the bike ever since I bought it ?
YES I learnt basic biking on my P180 (its a DTSi)
YES I learnt commuter biking on it
YES I learnt on my own what RPM meant and what to make outta them
YES I learnt my own tricks
YES I learnt how and when to shift ONROAD in full traffic in Bangalore ( though I strictly advise other new learners NOT to do anything of similar sort ).
After a short stint with my Izzy ( yes I call her IZZY and I RIDE HER DAILY ) I am in love with her and never faced any hiccups.

As for me, I am a fresh college grad and newly shifted to Bangalore ( since Aug '08 ) and working as an Analyst in Accenture.

Hobbies include - reasonless driving on the Outer Ring Road at nights with the wind in my face ( I do wear a helmet, just my visor's open ), Trance and Electronic Music and Industrial Metal. I have an altogether different collection of songs ( a lot of them Retro and 80's ) that I classify as Highway music and plan to listen when riding on one.

Looking forward to meet fellow Xbhpians from Bangalore and be a part of this great Community

        Xheers !
        Xove you all

              Wow! What an intro.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
