  • Add another Mad Biker to the Tally!!

    Hi,

My name is Prashant Chopra and I am from Mumbai. I am an avid bike fan and love riding. I own a TVS Apache 150 (2006 model) and my bike would be 4 years old by the end of this month... 4 years man!! I've covered around 32K kms on it and its still young at heart!!

My bike has been my support and my lifeline over these years. I have done 6 rounds of Mumbai-Pune on my bike (I was in Pune for the last two years for my MBA) and the experience is awesome and cannot be described in words... I love long drives, be it by car or bike, but a bike would always be my first preference...

I have upgraded my bike within the last four years, both cosmetically and for performance. I customized the color scheme from plain black to a mix of black with designs in blue (blue similar to Fiat 500, Europe) and also changed the tyres and clip-on handle bars. I wanted a more sporty look so replaced the gear and breaking system with RTR 160. Also added a engine belly of RTR 160 and rear fender or RTR 180. Then added a K&N air filter (its awesome... and the sound is crazy) and changed the exhaust with an old Pulsar exhaust (cut it in size to fit it inside the exhaust cover of FZ 16).

Well, its been two years since the last color upgrade. I'm upload some pics of the last color scheme and will upload more after i'm done with the new paint job. I would be glad if my brothers would also share some advices for further upgrades. This being my first bike, and bought from my own salary, is very near to my heart and I would like to use it for a long long time! Cheers and happy to be a member... late but no worries!!
