Yes, Satyen & Harikesh, very true - I still feel that I have many many years of biking left, contrary to the people in my office, who have been saying that I was sure to get back trouble, etc, etc, due to my bike riding - I ride to work from Thane to Churchgate - and the fact that I weigh in at 115 .

Been to Leh, now thinking of going to Kerala, my hometown - let's see when that materializes

PS: Hey, I've got the hang of multi-quote

Welcome to xbhp George sir. Young at heart and mature in riding - we need more experienced riders like you to motivate our new riders.
And which place in Kerala are you from.

Is riding to Kerala more difficult than Leh... hehe
I'm basically from Trisshur (my dad's from Trivandrum )
And actually, yes, riding to Kerala would be more difficult in the sense that I have to find time (kids, school, etc ) and I would be going alone, whereas the Leh trip was completely organized by the Youth Hostels , so no hassles about planning, etc. and we were a BIG group (109 to be exact )
And, don't know why, but I didn't exactly find riding in Leh all that difficult - was on my Unicorn - maybe because by the time I went - August - the conditions were more favorable for riding (Got snow at a couple of places and rain throughout )
                But what an experience !!!!!

PS: And by the way - what's with the "sir"? You're making me feel old

You are most welcome to share your experiences and guide people like us, sir

P.S. I'm just one year old in terms of biking. So, calling u sir is more in terms of experience even if you ignore the age difference

I stay at Kalwa presently, but thinking of moving either to Godbunder or Airoli, as my son is studying in NHPS.

I work in Churchgate ... so, chances of meeting you on the road don't seem so bright , but I'll definitely keep an eye out for your bike.

Just in case, my ride is a black P220 and I usually wear a yellow Vega and black Maze jacket
