Hi everyone , i am kartik from pune . My biking days count right from 10th std where in I used to drive a bajaj saffire owned by my dad in the gulleys. For me, my first ride was during the year 2001 on a TVS luna . Later on small rides whenever I got a chance to . By the time I finished my 12th, I had driven a honda activa all till the ECR road to mahabalipuram(near chennai) which accounted for my first long drive of some 100 and odd kms. Till then , I never knew this term called "biking" nor do I myself had any internal instance of mine saying "you love this stuff" . When I relocated to hassan( poor mans ooty) for my engineering , I was surrounded by all the machines. I pursued mechanical engineering at MCE, Hassan with a small interest for engines developing for my self . Later on , during my final year I had this great honour of owning an RX-100 , 1987 make original japan cast engine( i am really skeptical about this part, though I was just told by a good frn of mine who had an immense interest in engines) ..Though , the people around my made odd eyes seeing a humungus 95kg man on Rx - 100, I still loved ripping around( Had to sell it off while leaving owing to pressure). On seeing, a large number of deaths during engg college lifetime , I was very convinced with the word of responsible driving. As the journey continued, like many other grads I landed on with a corporate giant "Infy" . As dayz passed by , I again loaded my self with a machine , a unicorn(which I had ridden most of the times in first 3 years of my engg., actually a junior owned it ). Today, I know what biking means to me. More than a passion, its been a part of my life and my soul. I happily accept the fact that " I was not born a biker, but now I am one"
