Howdy folks,
Name's Naveen. Moved and finally settled in Pune, Maharastra about 10 months ago.
Bought an FZ16 about the same time and has been my ride since then. Tough the smallest ever ridden, think its the traffic here that makes it fun. Never felt the need for anything bigger.
Been around a lotta places. Raised in Germanton, W Virginia for most part, hence the interest in cars and bikes (too many junkyards around).
Bought my first bike, a 1982 Honda CM250 custom, for $75 off of Mike who didn't realise what it was worth. Lots work on it as parts were hard to come...too sad it was stolen :-(
Moved upwards to a 1982 Yamaha 750 Stradda ...also known as the RAT. Was fun for a while...
After college, bought meself a FZ1 and moved to cars from then on...and sadly they are the only Pics I have :-( I might find some pics me older bikes...or I get something close off the internet....
As for Pune, I work at LnT Infotech....Love this place as potential to go somewhere awesome under 150 kms is great and traffic is just about bearable....
As for my FZ, cared only a bit about the run in period...My first 1000 kms came in the first month. This is a beauty to ride...almost similar to the FZ1 minus the power, torque
and weight....
About 6500 kms now...bikes beautiful as ever, still shiny, give me 45 kmpl in city and I'm usually in 65-70 mark in the city
Not too many contacts in this city as yet, so still looking for options.
Hmmm...also we might never go on G2G's as you want me to wear stuff like knee pads and chest somethings....
. But maybe we can just meet...good to know some enthusiastic bikes...
