Hello to all members!
I have just joined the xBHP group here this week and I thought I should introduce my self.

I am from Gujarat. I didn't have my first bike till I was in college in Ahmadabad. And even that was a good old Hero Honda Splendor. Those were busy years for me (I was in medical college) and didn't get much time to take off.
I remember the run-in period of 2K km as I couldn't go beyond 45kmph. I used to drive to the nearby city everyday for after-lunch soda . I did total four 400km trips on it. I clocked 30k km in that bike in college years. It is still as smooth as I remember it.

Anyways, I finished the college and went to US for 5 years. A few times I broke the 100 mph barrier in my car there, and I realize I like the road more than anything else. Came back last year and had my eyes on Royal Enfield Thunderbird ever since. I am in Pune right now, working here, and waiting patiently for the delivery. Maybe in a couple of months.

I really enjoy the travelogues and technical knowledge that is shared here. I guess I had a biker in me, just didn't get to know him well in all these years.

It's great being here. I hope I make some friends in this community.
