This is the RC nitro truggy I was talking about earlier...Its a 1:8 scale
I ll run you with the specs
1. 4.3 cc nitro mill (fuel-> nitro methane+methanol+castor oil).
2. 2.3BHP @ 30,000RPM (you read it right, thirty thousand revs
)
3. Three pin sliding carb.
4. Dual Composite Disk brakes.
5. Low CG.
6. Fully adjustable suspensions settings, toe-in toe-out , camber settings..
Top whack, well this is a stadium truck...so acceleration characterizes this baby
, does a decent 80kmph..(I have come across several blogs which says a top whack of 130-140kmph with a second cog..) Addding a second cog and complaint clutch bell along with the auto shifter costs more than half the truggy
.... Also, I stumbled upon this website which makes turbo chargers (RAM AIR) components for these engines...
This is off-the-shelf ready to race version...Mine had a pull start, got rid of it and converted it to an electric start. I have race pedigree glow plugs on this and its a different feeling to race these things on a dirt track.
