  • Hi all!

    Hi everybody,
I'm new at XBhp as a member. I have been reading posts here for quite a while and have derived a lot of inspiration from the various travelogues of other members, so, thank you all. I also thank XBhp for creating this wonderful platform for like-minded riders. Kudos guys, great job, really!
I have been riding regularly for the last 11yrs and have covered over a lakh kms, almost all of which have been city commuting. XBhp and the exploits of some of the fearless riders who post here, shook me up and kindled a liking for touring in me. I developed a new found consciousness about my riding and left behind my rather zombie-like daily commuting ritual. I realised I was just going thru the motions and failing to enjoy the rides anymore. In spirit I became a student of riding again and actually started developing my riding skills and most importantly, started to enjoy my daily rides again. My current steed, a trusted 04' HH Ambition, is suddenly feeling rather inadequate---- I used to ride a borrowed HH CD100 SS before that. Nevertheless, I managed to complete a highly satisfying 600 odd km road-trip, with my wife as pillion, last month. The inspiration and information I got from Xbhp was hugely instrumental in providing me the urge and the confidence to make this tour possible.
So, once again, thank u all!!

    Welcome to xBhp!

Nothing better than inspiring people to ride themselves and look at motorcycles from a different perspective! And you are a great example of the fact that the ride hardly matters!

Thanx...will check out your 'Ashtavinayak and Shirdi' triplog; a couple ride account will surely enthuse my wife.

Thank you L'lyRdr for the warm welcome; pardon me for my bluntness, but do you need more maintenance for your TB, compared to say, a Karizma R? As you have owned and ridden the TB for 75k kms, I would greatly value your opinion on this.
