  • Greetings XBHP' ian

    Myself ranjeet From New Delhi.

    Working as Energy professional(mechanical Engineering).

Now My first two wheeler > 0 BHP Yamaha R15(Flying Duck).
Total riding 20,000KM only(both mine & mine Duck)
Before that I travel through Bus. I Had seen R15 while visiting in auto expo 2008 when Yamaha had decided to launch it in India. When R15 was launched I was impressed by its feature & reviews and decided to buy my first two wheeler whenever i will be financially able.
Actually i enjoy the involvement while riding Sportsbike, RPM, gear change at sweet spot, front braking, combination with rear brake, cornering, counter steer, foot position on brake peg & gear peg, throttle response, target fixation etc.

I started to learn motorcycle with my Flying Duck (R15) only. believe me its very forgiving bike for your learning. though sometimes repairing for fairing is real pain, which I had done more than couple of times. as used to fall a lot initially while braking & slipping. Now ..

With in these Biking 1.5 years in I had learned to ride my Flying Duck from scratch with increasing speed (40KMPH -> 90KMPH->125KMPH->140KMPH), verified all the records for R15 personally i.e. fastest 50KMPH, fastest 100KMPH, shortest braking distance, travelled 300+ Km in single day, from 100KMPH to zero and most noticeable Head on collision at 125KMPH( and 8+ months bed ridden).

Now still I ride fast, cross 130 KMPH frequently but with responsibly & in more mature way.. learned the lesson hard way.

Life is very precious do every thing to keep it safe while enjoying your Flying Duck
Drive FAST but not Rough, Drive SAFE But not Slow.

Hi Ranjeet Welcome to xBhp !!

After reading your intro I knew why you chose liionheart, I don't think many people will have the courage to even touch their bike after being bed ridden for 8 months after such accident. Very brave of you that you are still riding.

Ride Safe !! Take Care !!

        Flying Duck Vs Car

I don't know but after bed ridden for 8+ months and getting second life, I do got scared to death initially riding bike but now normally flying again.

I got a car with me, but my Flying Duck(bike) always keeps me calling and I can do nothing but chose him instead of car(Hyundai).
Drive FAST but not Rough, Drive SAFE But not Slow.

welcome to you and your flying duck
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
          #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.
