An amateur! and a newbie!
Hi Xbhpians,
I am Praveen, 21, from the town of Sivakasi, Tamilnadu. and currently in my final year of undergraduation at Coimbatore.
Bikes, were not amongst my crazes, but speed was! I was little oriented towards high power, and I mean it. So, that dragged me into my degree of Aeronautical Engineering, with my interest in propulsion. But, as days passed, i started feeling,
why go for such big engines, when i can touch and feel the power under the two wheels!
My dad, owns a Bajaj Chetak 150, old calssic. Those were really awesome memories, when i can sleep in the back leaning on the spare wheel at the back, when my here(of course, my dad!) is cruising with his chetak at 30!
and he never gave me a chance riding it, not till date!
So, those young days of mine where far from bikes!
But, back two years, when i got my license, my dad without a negotiation, bought me a second hand (of course!, that was great) HH CD Deluxe. And, you know, Yeah! WoW! Yes! uhuhuhu!
I was jumping up and down with my first bike in hand! (I could still remember that feeling) Sad part is, am not even a rookie in riding a bike. My license was a whole lot of a different story! Don't wanna talk about that here!
Then somehow, with my friends help in here at college, I learnt to ride my bike!
It all started with countryside rides for various works in and around coimbatore and it slowly expanded its regime! And, I can still remember taking my bike out on the highway to the next town of Mettupalayam.
It was a day trip to Ooty with my friends way back in 2010. And then it started.
I was felling like in heaven when behind the handlebars!
That 60 kmph speed was like whew! Awesome! I raced my little chipmunk, as i used to call it, to around 90+kmph, and then, the speedo started like going between 110 and 70
Came down, after the trip, I could still feel that adrenaline in my blood! and, of course, started to love it!
Then, started my one day trips, mostly bunking college hours,
twice to ooty,
twice to kodiveri, a awesome river spot near Sathiyamangalam
Other one day trips include, from coimbatore to
Valpaarai, Athirapally, Silent valley, Hogenakkal,
and many more spots other than these prominent ones.
All hail CD Deluxe! Sad is my chipmunk!
Have clocked over 35-40k kilometers in the last 1.5 years!
So, thus started my adrenaline rush! and am now here at Xbhp hoping a lot to happen!
And, I have to admit it guys,
Passionate bike collectors, Techies, Tuning Gurus!! Wow! this place is awesome!
Am looking forward to buy my next bike! and of course a tourer! may be a cruiser! 
Anyways, hopes are high to have a nice time here!
