  • My journey Begins !!!

    Hello everyone,
    After years n of waiting, here I am on ma new FZ-16, every bit of which i ve earned.. here i am !!!! I m a novice biker but a biker nonetheless.. hoping to learn a lot from my fellow XBHPians.
    ma journey begins here !!!! and for all those who said that i could never ride Here i come .... This is Rakesh for u !!!!! i m here to learn hoping you all would help/teach me... i love touring .. but i ve only been a pillion rider till date.. all thats gonna change.. My home town is Ooty- The Queen of hills and the ride to ma town is enchanting and mesmerizing. I work else where....Now, its my turn to experience the ride first hand ... true biker style....

                thanks for that really cool welcome !!! I ll get back with some of my touring pics !!!! right now i m riding at 40-45 kmph coz its a new engine... is there any thing else i should keep in ma mind?.. i ve heard guys say that the engine has to come in to line with my riding.. dint quite make sense..
                But i cant wait to feel the throttle !!!! do post ur comments...

                      the handling is as smooth as it can get its is a real city slicker slicker !!!! even better is the road grip and hence cornering.. and it easily churns 50+ per ltr...\ i d say go for it !!!!

                              Good to know that you are from Ooty. I studied in Coimbatore & one of my favourite places for riding is Ooty -- particularly the Metupalayam-Kothagiri-Ooty route. It's one of the best hill roads as far as I have seen & has great twisties too (which is how I like it!)
