  • Ahoy!

    Hey Guys!
This is Kapil from bangalore. Had always heard of xBhp but only came across this when i was lookin for info on P200s...
    About me:
Am a working prof thru the week and a rider/tourer on the weekends... I try and work on my own bikes whenever i can or on whatever i can...
    I own a 1986 enfield 350, a 1997 enfield 500, a 1986 RD 350 and a newly aquired 2009 P200 (bought on the 6th of jan).
The P200 is what brought me to this forum... and thats the bike which is alien to me as of now compared to my other bikes.. not an ounce of similarity!
Well... am here to take in as much as i can from you guys and will try and contribute to the forum myself!
    Cheers,
    Kapil!

              Thanks guys!!
@MG: I used to "commute" in bangy on my enfields and that was taking a huge toll on my back.. most of my weekends were either spent wrenching on my bikes myself/ at a mechanics/touring and i wanted an allrounder so to speak.. something i could use mon-fri to office and use as a tourer on weekends (occasionally.. that is if i am not on my RD/Enfields) taking into account my requirement out of this purchase and my budget.. the P200 seemed to just fit right in... not expecting mind blowing performance from this bike ... decent performance and reliability! which i think it will provide!
Pranay: Thanks for the invite... i will definitely make it for the next ride... My ol ladies aren't upto it as of now... and the new kid in the garage needs to be run in... next ride/meet.. am in!
              Bhandav: You got it..

Thanks My RD... hmmm... i think if i list the issues she has right now.. you guys are gonna seriously get bored.. she is heading towards a rebuild soon.. which i cannot afford as of now.. gonna try and keep her running till i can before i save up and do a good rebuild.. so highly unlikely that you'd see me with my RD for a meet... but yep.. will try!

@Puneet1: i had to stretch my budget big time/empty my account to afford the P200 P220 was waay outta reach and yeah the zma was something i could have stretched some more and bought but chose this coz i somehow liked this better
@Bandhav: whoops.. i must be dyslexic! sorry bout that!
                            Thanks andy and shadez!
i wanted a commuter and an occasional tourer man... hehe.. the pulsar is "definetely" an alien when parked next to my other bikes.. heck it's takin me getting used to seeing all these together!!
