• Pannkaj from Mumbai.

Hello to all the Bikers out here and my sincere thanks to the moderators for allowing me to be a part of the xbhp family. Finally a xbhpian!!

To start with, myself Pannkaj from Mumbai, age 25, currently working and studying both. Biking is something which has always fascinated me since my younger days but the biker spirit within me was awakened in 2010 after i bought my 'Red Hawk' ie a red Yamaha Fazer 150. Frankly speaking, this bike has made me fall in love especially with touring and made me a biker. She has been in the worst of weather, on the worst of roads, in the worst of circumstances, but she has always been the safest. A few changes have been done on the bike and i will attach a pic in my next post.

Also have taken her to Lonavala, Khandala, Aamby valley, Karnala, Malshej ghat and most of the places nearby Mumbai. And finally have my trip to Bhandardara planned on 1st sep and then Daman during winters. Will surely share my experience henceforth and hope it will help other bikers as well. Any questions, inputs or suggestions from others is most welcome.

pulsarhardcore, neil9381 - Thanks and yes i have checked out the Mumbai thread and went through the guidelines and it does seem exciting. And definately looking forward to ride along with you guys, also shall have to buy a new riding jacket and knee guards as well.
If you can just give me an overview as to -
1) How many bikers usually turn up for a meet?
2) How often are the trips planned?
3) Lastly, are the trips usually for a day or more than a day?

Will also be getting 'xbhp' pasted on my bike very soon.

pulsarhardcore - thanks again for the info. If you can also suggest me any reasonable shop from where i can buy the jacket and the guards. Or i will go ahead and try the ones nearby andheri. Also this 15th wont be possible for me to join you guys for the trip as i have other commitments, so most probably next month for the next trip.

Hey thanks a lot bro, really appreciate it. Mulund is a bit far off but would definately visit the store whenever i get to visit that side. For the time being, will check out AH Helmets in Andheri and the OTG store in Bandra. By the way, the DSG Triton Jacket has really got my attention, would definately save a bit more and go for it.
