:beer:Good Evening fellow bikers,
Myself Jitendra Badlani (official name is Jitendra, friends call me Jitu) from Indore, MP.
I've been following xBhp for couple of years, infact posts on xBhp have also helped me deciding my first bike the Pulsar 220F.
Being a part of this community feels like you're at home, all helpful biker brothers always up for help.
Now my little (long) crazy story:
I am a simple guy with a little complicated personality & with some really big dreams
.I am working with my Dad for our family business.
I first rode a two wheeler when I was 6 it was my Grandfather's Kinetic. My family previously had some very bad experiences with Bikes so didn't had a privilege of riding a motorbike till I was 12. My first ride came when i sneaked the keys of my cousin's Kawasaki Boxer and decided to get my hands on it, kick started the engine, pulled the cluth lever, engaged the 1st gear, and released the clutch completely, and off goes the bike with a jerk, did this again & again & failed again, saw my mother and cousin standing behind me & laughing at me(the biggest embarrassment) I just locked the bike put it on side stand & gave it to cousin like a sidha bachha & smiling at me he told "chal me sikhata hu". And then I realised that the clutch lever is to be released slowly
.Had ridden many bikes that year in Bhopal at another cousin's shop ( as he was a Second hand bike Dealer) bikes like HH Passion, Splendor, my cousin's personally pimped-up HH Ambition
& The legendary Yamaha RX-100
.I still remember I fought my cousin for the RX-100 & took it for a short ride (as I told him) as i was new to the city only god knows where was I headed for, rode it on open highways, city streets, somehow found the way back & came home after 5 hours of fun riding & as soon as I entered the hallway BAM BOOM!! came the slaps of my Mom (as I had missed my cousin's engagement ceremony for which we were there) she bahsed me in front of all the relatives and I stood there smiling like a retard because I had just came back experiencing the best moments of my life. That day marked a big change in my life as well as mentality. When in 12th class my Father promised me taht if I passed the exams with above 65% he would buy me a Motorcycle. But after exams I realised that parent's promises before exam are same as promises of political parties before elections, never fulfilling
.Finally after 1 year of wait my Father got sick of my funny sarcastic taunts & finally agreed
for my first bike. The next day my father asked me about my choices I just gave him a list of 5 bikes which I was looking forward to, list goes as:1) Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350cc [my father's dream]
2) Honda CBR 250R [ love at first sight]
3) Bajaj Pulsar 220F [was 50% interested in it]
4) Yamaha R15 [removed it from the list after test riding & because of it's sky high ass]
5) KTM Duke 200 [was only 20% inclined towards it]
CBR 250R was the one I wanted but because of the hefty price tag my Father didn't allowed me (He really liked the Bike but being a business man he didn't considered it as a good VFM package).
Bullet wasn't considered because one of uncle told my Father that I will be unable to handle the heavy bike *facepalm*
& he said this when we were standing outside the RE showroom for a test ride.
I was like Uncle look at me (my height is about 6 ft & weight around 85kg) & tell me how can't I handle it, but my father declined saying "chod beta Bullet kabhi baad me kharid lenge
".Finally Pulsar 220F was decided after a week long tussle:thumbup::beer:
During the run in period I was completely confused for decision we made, as many of my friends told me about the Pulsars that they are not long lasting

But after the 1st service I couldn't resist the urge of pushing the bike to it's limit, 140 is the top speed I've managed.
But now after nearly 2 years I think the 19 ps of power of so called wolf eyed beast(my Pulsar 220F) will be unable to quench my further thirst of power.
Looking forward for the launch of KTM's RC390 as I get a feeling that it will be my next ride (hope so)
.Looking forward to share some more memories & increase my knowledge about Bikes, Biking and Brotherhood from all the xBhpians

Ohh now that I have finished writing I realised that the intro has turned up to be too long, so if you are still reading this, Thank you for spending your precious time.
