I guess with the changing times and the people around here, a reintroduction thread would not be out of place. I am sort of coming back in xBhp after not logging in for ages, so here it goes.
Name: Shamik Banerjee
Grew Up in: Calcutta, now Kolkata.
Location: Saadi Dilli aka New Delhi
Occupation: Senior Team Leader, Global Infrastructure Services Management in a MNC in NCR.
Motorcycle Owned: '83 Yamaha RD 350 (stolen) and a '05 Honda Unicorn (first and current steed).
Camera Owned: Canon Powershot A520 and Canon EOS Rebel XSi.
I love: Backpacking, Hitch Hiking, Motorcycles, Mountains, Beaches, Fast cars, Beer, Photography, Wildlife, beer, Meeting people from different countries and cultures, Hosting Strangers at my home, beer, Heavy Metal, MotoGp, Bengali cuisine, Calcutta, Two Stroke engines, Ducati, singing inside my helmet while corner curving in the Himalayan twisties, counting how many hours I didnt honk while riding, listening to the mountain streams while riding solo in the Kumaon, this minute..this hour..this life!

I am sure those who have been here for some time know about you and your touring capabilities. I, for one surely look forward to more lovely trips from you. Your love for Uttaranchal/ Kumaon is something which has always inspired me, atleast.
